  1. Brilliant, Im taking that one going to be my new philosophy in life
  2. My Dad worked on the tugs from the age of 14 and loved it said there was never a day he didnt want to go to work, always envied that as Ive never found a job Ive enjoyed, just disliked more than others.
  3. Worked with a Iranian lad for a while when I was younger, he said he was a "moderate" Muslim and drank like a fish and was off his nut every weekend on coke. Always used to ask him if he missed living in a mud hut with his goats. He used to reply, "I keep telling you I lived with my parents in a brick house and have only ever seen a goat at the market". Apart from a white South African I worked with he was the most racist person I have met, hated Iraqis and Pakistanis with a vengeance and funny enough benefit scroungers!
  4. Like I said mate its a roundabout we cant get off, even I have had to employee Immigrants (all be it legal) for the company I work for as no UK citizen are even applying anymore and we pay a pretty decent wage. Morrisons are currently cutting their staff levels back, stopping overtime and bonuses that in turn has the knock on effect I mentioned earlier, Its the perfect storm.
  5. My wife works for a higher end supermarket and has done for 26 yrs. They always did a annual assessment and your hourly rate was paid on your length of service, commitment and work rate, they also paid a annual bonus based on the profit the company made. The bonus hasn't been paid for years now and a new starter now comes in on exactly the same as someone who has worked there for 30yrs (minimum wage). The outcome is now the older members of staff are retiring early, nobody stays, the remaining work force are getting frustrated and doing the minimum. There are more and more foreigners bein
  6. Nick Fletcher MP saying what we all know RWANDA BILL. (youtube.com)
  7. Always considered myself to be a bit of a Royalist but as time as gone on I have to agree their hypocrisy knows know bounds. Im starting to think they should just either slink away into the shadows or do something really radical and use some of their wealth/land and give it back to the people (Note: People not government).
  8. Imagine hearing that 40 years ago
  9. I know it Christmas and a time for good will to all men and all that but I don't get it as the death is being reported as a suicide and complaints the Bibby Stockholm is like a prison. You travel across god knows how many continents because your life is in danger and one would presume live in a shit hole. You by pass a number of safe countries on the way to get to the UK where you are put up in a centrally heated refurbished room with all mod cons, gym, games room, instant access dental and medical care, 3 meals a day, £40+ a week, free phone, free travel to and from your accommodation in
  10. Because most people in this country are a bit thick and choosing anything other than A or B throws them completely, in fact most dont even realise there are a C,D and E option and will just keep voting for the same old. I predict the next election will be one of the worst turn outs ever, Labour will get in and Starmers first statement will be how bad the country is in due to Tory rule and how its going to take 3 years of drastic change to turn it around and we will just go around and around again.
  11. Solidarity rally staged in Dublin following violent riot (msn.com) Minister Roderic O'Gorman don't agree mate he feels its been a difficult weekend for the migrants and the unions have got involved again "Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation general secretary Phil Ni Sheaghdha said Ireland welcomes migrant workers" The stabbing victims did get a small mention in the article though
  12. Yes mate cracking house, and he also owned the Tattoo shop on Two Mile hill she was rough as assholes and think he had connections with the local bikers. Did some work on their "studios" at the back of crews hole in St George after they left Hotwells, separate rooms each was set out different, barn, doctors surgery etc it was a Sunday so know one was about. Right next door he also had a photo studio for parents with kids for family portraits, it was all legit never crossed over in any way just didn't seem right. They donated a shit load of money to local community projects and sometimes it was
  13. My brother worked in the porn industry for a bit with Kathy Barrys company as a web designer. He left when they bought a bulk load of thongs and asked him to spread a dab of wall paper paste on the gusset of each pair so they could sale them on as the used pants off the different girls, not all glitz and glamour.
  14. Attending protests with banners from unite and unison saying refugees welcome here would suggest they are referring to all refugees unless they only want the good ones ? Unions can and should do what their members want correct 100%. One member on here has already stated he would leave the union if they got involved in the Israel/Palestine issue and I know of many who left in the 90's when they got involved with protests against the BNP so again, were the paid up members offered a vote? If they were and a majority voted I will hold my hands up and apologise, if they didn't and took action
  15. Unions are involved in politics anyway and are as corrupt as the government so they are two of the same IMO. Serious question though I'm interested to know how the unions would have stopped the child rape cases especially as they are advocates of mass immigration ?
  16. YTS engineering at 16, great idea the YTS but abused massively by the companies who took on youngsters so I never did a ounce of engineering just a cheap cleaner. Went on to Warehousing where I got involved in transport and then a natural progression to waste management and operations. Disliked everything I've done but I was a shit footballer so my chosen career path was limited. If I could have my time again I would still probably end up the same route as I've taken as I've never been that driven.
  17. That was kind of my point, most of the guys of that age that went on to become tradesman weren't particularly academically inclined either. So what better people to show youngster that are not that way inclined as well ? Its the paperwork, politics and targets that appeal to the Tarquins of this world, change the whole system to suit the individuals.
  18. Lynch comes across as a self serving bully and Farage as a self serving wannabe intellect. As a leader Farage gets my vote everyday of the week. I have a real issue with unions funding every left wing march and protest at the expense of their members most who probably dont agree with them but have had no say, which considering what unions stand for is ironic. In a fight Lynch all the way street fighter and brawler, Farage marquis of queensbury rules type .
  19. Raw footage: How London's day of rage unfolded and scuffles erupted on Whitehall - YouTube Some of the footage looks very strange same people at the front on most of the "altercations", 4:18 strangest of the lot almost looks like a training exercise. 30 odd police 20 "far right protesters", not a punch thrown and everyone else stood well back filming and watching looking a bit miffed. And who would go to a protest intent on causing trouble with your companies name emblazoned on the back of your top, I know some people are thick but come on.
  20. Nigel Farage posts video over bumper payday on entering I’m A Celebrity - YouTube At least hes honest about it
  21. Here's another thing. Teacher shortage apparently, well f**k Tarquin the left wing algebra teacher off who has nothing in common with Tommy. Get in Mike the 55 year old mechanic who grew up on a estate has a wealth of life skills and knowledge but is struggling to get down on his knees and needs to slow up a bit rather than working another 2 years being completely knackered and having to go on benefits because he cant move. Like I say so simple.
  22. Imagine little Tommy sat in lesson, Tarquin his teacher teaching shoving algebra down his throat when he struggles to read and write and then every year reporting how shit he is and how unless he buckles down hes going to be a failure in life. Or Alternatively........................ Little Tommy not too bright struggles with reading and writing but after assessment clearly loves cars. Bang him in a mechanics class teach him he needs a 13mm spanner to undo 6 nuts but he needs to then replace 3 off them with new ones. Show him the diagram of the workings of the part it came from and
  23. Increasing the school leaving age, pathetic university courses and then the obligatory "gap year" has meant we have gap in the recruitment market of about 7 years that's starting to bite us on the ass in this country. Its so easy to resolve, stop teaching lessons too kids in schools that are clearly not academically driven. Cookery, needlework, metal work, motor mechanics, brick laying etc can all still have basic understanding of mathematics, english even geography and history incorporated into the teaching making it fun and useful at the same time but we are obsessed with adding
  24. Not sure just popped up on the news feed on my phone heres a link Israel-Gaza: Union members block arms factory in protest over conflict - BBC News
