I see Emma Lewell put her money where her mouth is and voted against Starmer I thought her speech was excellent. Barry Gardiner who gets on GBNews abstained from voting he seems to be swinging with the wind at the moment the weasel. I hope the next time hes on there he gets roasted.

On your "same ticket" point, you are aware Rupert Lowe was a member of the Conservative party until 1993? And Zia Yusuf joined Reform in July 2024 as chairman, Rupert Lowe was a reform MP until March 2025 when he was suspended. HOPE and CHANGE ? No different than if Rupert Lowe got elected as our PM you would hope he kept to his word and there was a change in which this country was governed, its all soundbites until the fat lady sings. I don't think Rupert Lowe has much of a chance at this moment but what he is doing is keeping Reform on their toes and moving their policies back to the right as they were definitely becoming a "centrist" party, the concern is it may split the vote. In an ideal world Reform would be in government and Restore a viable opposition party especially with a Labour/Green/SNP coalition looking more and more likely for the left. In reality I think 99% of them are shit kants and we are fooked anyway!

Its a complete shower off shite lie after lie and no consequences for their actions is what really boils my piss. I've been listening to this McSweeny evidence thing in the background and its either "cant recall" or "sorry I wasn't aware" and now there are no minutes available for meetings they had about Mandelsons appointment as "nobody ask if they were being taken". In any other walk of life and you'd be out on your ear and drawing dole whilst being virtually unemployable, they are all sitting pretty with big pay outs and huge pensions when they should be facing criminal charges for treason

No tax on overtime and no tax on tips what a blinder of a policy to get people back working, doing a good job and actually doing extra hours, creating growth for the economy. Our government on the other hand, tax you for tips and overtime and then double the tax rate if you do more taking you over the 50k mark.............its staring us in the eyes.

Almost 59 worked and paid in since I was 16 never claimed dole in my life. Just handed in my notice finishing up next year having Parkinsons getting up at 5am and not getting home until gone 5:30pm to pay for this scourge on the UK and getting no support myself aint happening no more. Pensions I've paid into all my working life aren't worth a bucket of horse piss and this gobshite government still want their pound of flesh from that as well. Really my 5 year old grandson would get it, but just for you ................A while back there was this nasty big bully and he started to pick on me but I stood up to the bully and we had a fight. Because he started it the teacher made him pay me some money to pay for my ripped trousers, the bully is now my friend and we share our sweets. Makes perfect sense. The USA offered to put all the engineering and infrastructure in place for them to enrich the Uranium basically so they could keep tabs on it and control it before they even started bombing so not sure why thats strange ? Compensation is also not unusual the UNCC handle the claims and Germany after WW1 and Japan after WW2 both had reparations imposed.

On another point concerning potential attacks on the UK if we get involved with 20 IRGC terrorist attacks being thwarted in this country I checked some stats. It looks like ICE detained and deported over 800 Iranians leading up to June 2025, if only our government took a leaf out of the USA's book we may be a little bit more inclined to assist the USA ?

There are a fair few in work with the same mindset as you almost like you want the USA to lose and be totally humiliated, a very strange view! I will ask you the same question as I've asked them, what was the other option, sit back hope nothing happens and let Iran and Islam become more powerful across the world ? As mentioned previously we are not in a fight against people and countries who are after ruling us or taking our resources or land they want to annihilate us, they want us gone, dead.

I've said this before MSM seem to be pushing this narrative that pensioners are the biggest drain on this country, triple lock, own 64% of the houses, NHS etc. These are people that have mostly paid in all their lives and of course they would own 64% of the houses they have been paying a mortgage for longer than someone in their 30's! I was over the moon when my dad was able to retire at 58 he had worked since the age of 14 paid into the system and never claimed a single benefit in all that time, now it seems they are training the younger generation to resent pensioners but I suppose

I would say equally in our house, most decision are taken jointly and I'm lucky that she accepts I'm better at some things and I accept she's better at others (much more than me if I'm honest). I've been with my wife since the age of 16, married at 25 and our 33rd anniversary is on Saturday. I have always given her control of our money and been happy too in all those years we have never been in debt so another of her plus points. She's my guardian angel I would probably have been a down and out without her so happy for her to wear the trousers.

Rich's has gone "up market" but my local go to for cider, the dry is lush and the restaurant is top notch as well. There used to be Coomb's Cider just up the road but its a caravan park now. You ever been to Wilkins at Lands End Farm ? I would advise anybody who is around the Somerset area pop in there its like stepping back in time and Roger is a right character.
