  1. One of the worst post I have read on this forum but only because its so true ?
  2. Had a old boy in work a few years ago show me a video of a sniper somebody had sent him taking out the Taliban in Iraq full on head shots the lot, didnt have the heart to tell him it was a video cut from Call of Duty.

    Bins

We pay £60 for the garden waste bin, local council have brought in new recycling rules starting next month and are only emptying the black bin every 3 weeks. We now have Black and green wheelie bins, brown food bin, black box, green box and massive gurt big blue bag, takes up a chunk of space at the side of the house thats for sure.
  4. Plimsols was the posh word for them, never heard of gutties. Start of every new term all the kids had a brand new pair the changing rooms stunk of rubber for a few weeks.
  5. If you came from Bristol back in the 70's those noncey pe slippers were the bollocks. Black Widows they were called and its "daps" not pe slippers (another Bristol thing). They also doubled up as the mode of punishment for the teachers in our school, you would have the mark on your arse cheek for weeks.
  6. Media again, they dont seem happy unless they are spreading fear and unrest. Watching the news now is painful at least they throw in a random story about a dog with no nose being homed or a bloke climbing Everest with no legs at the end to try and balance it out!
  7. I think its a unwritten law within politics that the bigger parties wont stand in a local election mid term if the current candidate had died, possibly why Labour and Libs did not field candidates! See Jayda Fransen stood for Independent wasn't she deputy leader of Britain First?
  8. In all fairness the working time directive screwed a lot of peoples chances of earning extra, if your unskilled and skilled to a degree, the only way you make more is to work more and the WTD put a stop to that.
  9. I would love it if he would have said "If the parties did go ahead its deplorable under the circumstances, but we shall wait and see what the investigation brings and comment on it then. In the mean time as leader of the opposition our party would do x y and z to resolve these very serious issues our country are currently facing" Instead its ooooo look they had a party, resign, shout, scream and wave paper at one another and its all because they dont have a clue what they are doing either, absolute belters the lot of them.
  10. @Greyman your man, the canal he's got his boat on is rammed with them (Ive never caught one from there mind). Apparently they taste like Bass ?
  11. Catch a double figure Carp & Pike from this council owned lake (free fishing) tucked away at the back of the main a38.
  12. Nail on head....and there is the problem for every person who a government policy negatively effects there are a greater number that it doesn't and when it doesn't effect you the vast majority don't care about it. We are selfish, self centred animals and as much as it pains me I count myself in that statement as well.
  13. Keep it up mate its one of the reasons I come on this forum the range of opinions and the ability to discus them and more importantly actually being allowed to discuss them! I suspect every single post I have read on here has subconsciously changed my views or made them stronger its our human nature. There is definitely a change in people in general, moderate thinking folk are now looking at the bigger picture. Another year from now and we are going to see some changes in this country thats for sure but only time will tell if they are going to be for the better.
  14. Spot on, the problem is people no longer want to think for there selves its far to easy to sit back and let others do the thinking for them. Mind you there are also people who over think and they can be just as dangerous.
  15. We have a choice to think differently I agree, but if you believe you, me and everyone else are not influenced by the media then I disagree.
  16. Its all media led, its amazing frightening how they control what we think and how we perceive things now.
  17. Still there apparently but has a bit more help now.
  18. Haven't noticed anything said about this but its on BBC iplayer, brilliant!
  19. Christ I explained myself...............but how about this to twist you a bit more ”Nah, I’ve been knocking my bollocks out all my life on building sites Mrs Curie, always been pretty much fit as a flea but since I had the jab I've suffered to buggery” As you say probably just wear and tear but changes things a bit don't it hence my question. I mentioned in another post I've just been told I have fibromyalgia, its agony, I cant manthefuckup because I cant move some days and the doctor can give no explanation why it has suddenly flared up, am I looking for something that's not
  20. It sure is crap getting old ? Problem in my head Im still 25 is there a cream for that ?
  21. I asked the double jabbed question as I'm currently suffering in the shoulder, neck and leg to the point I haven't been able to move and there was no real incident that caused it. It was a simple question and not made to make a statement or push a agenda. And for the record I've had cortisone a number of times on a frozen shoulder a number of years back and they didn't hurt any more than a normal injection for me, so just goes to show our bodies all react differently to different things.
  22. Sounds like a torn rotator cuff doctor will give pain killers and a leaflet with exercises on. Solution is cortisone injection but there is a 6 month waiting list around our way, due to covid apparently (the standard excuse for poor service in every sector) in the mean time if it gets worse it could manifest into a frozen shoulder if your in pain now you aint felt nothing yet! Out of interest and dont want to start the whole vax thing but have you been double jabbed ?
  23. Getting sick of brainwashed 15 year old's telling over 50's they are ruining the planet and we have their blood on our hands. Just heard on the radio Sony have arranged 3 boeing 757 to bring 50 pallets of playstation 5's to the UK. Get your placards out Kids and protest the runway I will be impressed then!
  24. Fuel drivers need to be ADR qualified this takes approximately 1 week on a intense course and a refresher has to be taken after 5 years (ADR is a euro directive, it used to a hazpak that took a day to complete!) . What is not being reported is a great deal of fuel tanker drivers lost their ADR's during the lockdown and could not or did not want to take their refreshers. The average age of a HGV driver in the UK is 54 and as the ADR is not easy to pass a number have decided not to renew and take advantage of the current situation and switch to standard haulage. Also companies fuel tankering com
  25. The problem for the “white British person” is we now have to find a cause to hang on to, to make us feel better. As a nation we have lost our pride and identity you can no longer not have a opinion, you have to have the same one that its supporters shout and scream the most about, the one that suits the media agenda. I recently moved home and went for a walk yesterday with the wife across the local nature reserve that backs out on to newly built housing estate. As we walked through we were commenting on how nice the houses were and how well maintained the gardens were, we then walked lite
