Yes I totally agree breed clubs have a lot to answer for Lee and, for their particular breed, more than the kennel club does.
Unfortunately humans being what they are ,are competitive,and some want success regardless of what that means for the breed or individual dogs.
So ,let's say a bulldog s standard say massive or broad head (not read the standard)100 or so year ago it meant something totally different.
it's open to exaggeration ,where will this end.Maybe this should be where the kennel club through their accredited judges should step in.
