  1. Jcm you sure there's no Manchester terrier in your dog
  2. Wish I could help you buddybut the miles would make it impractical would have made room temporarily ATB hope it works out
  3. Mines 8 and thinking of slowing her down With the lamping as a toe injury she has although day time she will carry on until she don't want it
  4. thanks stabba that's what I wondered if there was anything closely bred as in a line...and that's what I was getting at ,Billy may have been a superb dog but 2 or 3 generations of Scatter breeding his genes maybe diluted so much,it's unfair to call a dog "Billy bred" hence folk saying seen/known/had failures, but if the line/inbred stuff are doing the biz ,happy days ATB roy
  5. I didn't mean any dogs where shit mate don't know anyone with those lines, just asking if it was a line as in linebred to a Particular dog or just decendants of a particular dog As I've heard the name mentioned a few times ATB Roy
  6. No I wasn't trying to imply anything about the breeding mate just wondered if it was a "line" thanks for your reply Just wondering as a few have said there are good and poor dogs so if there have been mixed results that could be the reason I.e. no line as such thanks mate
  7. Greenman Sounds a very good dog you have there ,you also sound as though you have put a lot of time into it, A question I asked earlier was would you say this is a line or would you say dogs bred off a couple of dogs. I mean has any line/in breeding happened for a few generations. Genuine question no axe to grind with anyone
  8. Is it a line or is it just someone breeding off a couple of generations Of his own dogs I mean is there any line breeding That might be the reason for inconsistancy...
  9. If it's jacked,it's jacked ... If you buy 1 pup out of a litter it's a long time before you know if it's a jacker. How can you sift through the shit of a line if it takes 2 or 3 years to find out you have a jacker. If I had one Jack I'd probably look else where ,or look if it's been pushed too hard too soon
  10. I it also depends on which temperament the dog it takes to especially with 3 or so breeds in thereA mate had a saluki cross and was what I'd call aloof rather than ignorant, and ran because IT wanted to rather than YOU wanted it to ,but boy it could run.Didn't care for praise from you either
