  1. With your name it's a wonder you ain't used 21ft tubes and 13ft boards with a bit of monoflex over the top
  2. Thing is lurcherlad , you can't have your cake and eat it.... Your business what you do with your dogs, but if it's only posts saying "well done lad" you might want to wait until September , Some will have an opinion on running mid summer ,and they will air it. Yes rabbits are a pest, but I think it's up the the fella that owns the land to decide that
  3. The black country according to some is where the coal seam was ,also the industry ,bilston had industry ,but wasn't in Wolverhampton at the time. Walsall had coal close to the surface .what wiki says ... Until the late twentieth century, the Black Country had no officially defined borders.[6] Some traditionalists have tended to define it as "the area where the coal seam comes to the surface – so West Bromwich, Oldbury, Blackheath, Cradley Heath, Old Hill, Bilston, Dudley, Tipton, Wednesfield and parts of Halesowen, Wednesbury and Walsall but not Wolverhampton, Stourbridge and Smethwick
  4. Yes I can vouch for dog lost ,used it before ,they are very good
  5. most lurchers will do what you want, just find a genuine litter from working parents. preferably doing what you want thye pup to do ,then just go with what you like.
  6. I had a litter ,and one was weak tried feeding but it was too weak to swallow ,so be careful as it can go on the lungs and cause pneumonia. Tried hard but it came to nothing on the end. Good luck it will be hard work
  7. ha ha ha I've been there many times people can make it all sound so easy the end of the day it's an animal it can think for it's self and some times do what ever it wants I've had dogs that blank you one night then the night after you can't pull them out of your arse its just the way it is we've all been there roybo.when i took mine out for her 1st night last season....i don't want to talk about it.bad memories It was a opportunity to get her out alone as she's always with her mother or 1/2 brother only a walk really ,but there's usually a few rabbits ,but probably the worst place to take her
  8. Took my young one out on her own for the first time ,where there are a few rabbits , she was a nightmare ,I thought her recall was spot on ,she proved me wrong.
  9. bet it eats more than cyril too probably more bottle too
  10. Bit quicker than Cyril, and probably a bit friendlier
  11. Much better than sitting at a PlayStation. Lovely bitch , and I'd imagine she will be ready do more as he grows into it.
  12. Pmd you about a litter penda. Might not be quite what he wants as they're line/in bred
  13. Agreed ,but the risk from those cells is the same as a laptop or power tool,as they use cells made by big companies. Deben buy a lot of their stuff from China , and because they buy in numbers ,can have them branded. Incidentally I know someone who's house set alight after a 22a/h lead acid battery caught fire ,when an ironing board bridged the terminals and started a fire.
  14. Same as having a battery from a drill or ,they laptop, they all use 18650 cells So I'd say there's no more risk than them
  15. No guarantees either way ,but I'd hedge my bets and pick a pup from parents doing what I want the pup to do. But breeding, a lot of the time, starts with a ex-track greyhound and a farm/pet collie and depending what you expect ,can do a job. But I'd sooner go for something a few generations and reap someone's hard work.
  16. I think physically they are tough as nature tends to weed out the weak, but like most things that fend for themselves, they would rather take an easy option and not fight or better still scavenge . I'd bet they tend to live by cunning rather than courage
  17. because their dogs usually bull x,s i think he said saluki crosses, lads with all crosses drive fields,.......rightly or wrongly.
