  1. Think they have plenty of deerhound types out there already, probably better than what is over here
  2. More than what breed,I'd make sure it ain't from nervy types and you have the knowledge to handle a potentially dangerous dog, a dog that's in a yard and barks at strangers can become unstable should it get out alone .
  3. I'd go for the staghound silversnake ,They are essentially a lurcher don't need anything else, a bit of speed and a bit of bottle they look big enough without wolfhound and deerhound,
  4. She's still a baby surely she can come good? How old is she socks?
  5. My brother-in-law lives in south Carolina. He isn't in to hunting ,but says it's popular there even the local Walmart sell hunting gear. Sounds a cracking country for lads who keep dogs.
  6. See Del boy down the road from you I'm sure he will sort you one out
  7. I just put their collar on from when I first get them just a cheap webbing one That can be adjusted ,and they all seem to go mad ,but they get used to it.
  8. https://www.allaboutdogfood.co.uk/dog-food-reviews/1696/eden-working-and-sporting-dog-food £57 Mine came in a clear bag
  9. About £50 but I get the working dogs one that's VAT free, the tax man might want his money back if he sees my dogs though
  10. but I bet if you compare it to the "cheaper" ones, it isn't much more expensive considering how little you have to feed.
  11. I had the Eden dog food ,for while and even my fussiest eater has enjoyed it ,also had the Millie's wolf heart also good , feed what it says and they don't get the squirts ,over feed and they might
  12. They have a chart and go off that it doesn't take into account if it's got massive thighs or a full back like some lurchers have ,go off how it looks ,and it looks fine off the pictures.
  13. All this thread needs is a few signatures at the bottom and it's a full confession
  14. Well most this site must have been about 3 year old at the time lol

  17. lmao I'm done with it, some should learn too read properly before coming on here OK
  18. Let's see who can quote the most and fill a page with what was on the last few pages
  19. yeah, all good in theory in it but i would think the less breeds in it the better. depends if the cross has all that the breeder wants. Some times adding a little something else tweaks it just enough
  20. I'd say Saluki crosses are used for hare coursing....you keep saying Saluki they aren't the same
  21. Very good point about coursing dogs ,that for an all-rounder they need something else in there ,but I suppose that could stand for most crosses ,. Most of the best lurchers I've seen, seem to be lurcher to lurcher usually of differing types ,be that coursing dog to bull x ,or collie x to deerhound cross Just getting it to drop right that's the hard bit
  22. i think if you get a dimmer ,,, a beam that not quite as tight as the 150 but not as floody as the other... and a separate red led . flip down filter (maybe clip on so you can sell separate) get a full night lamping (or maybe changable batteries) you'll have it covered dai, maybe build in thermal imaging option or nv
