  5. I've got a 1st cross here, she's 16 tts 7 months old, light as a feather and has the making of a good dog. She's quick of the mark and can turn like knowbodys business but she lacks a little top end speed, but saying that she is still young and got a bit more filling out to do so hopefully in a few more months it will all come together nicely. I've always wanted a bedlington whippet and I've got one and wouldn't change her for any dog out there..atb
  6. there's a big difference in weight and size between a greyhound and a bedlington but people still breed them...don't think a collie grey on a whippet will be much of a problem...but what do I no? Atb Yes but the bedlington is always the sire. I have a 1st cross bedlington whippet and the sire was the whippet 21tts the dam belington from show stock 16tts I no the whippet isn't as big as a greyhound but it worked well and had 6 healthy pups with no problems so I can't see the problem
  7. A lot of people mention mike brown lines when advertising whippet so they must be upto the job, look on his website? Type in his name on google and it comes up. Atb with your search

  18. Dropped my little girl to school this morning and the misses decided to have a few more hours in bed due to her having work tonight so bored at home packed the ferret into the box got the dog and whent for a stroll to one of my local permisions ( 5 min walk lol) had a quick chat with the farmer and he told me he saw a few rabbits in the small field behind the house so walked around and then the rain started! It was quite heavy so I sat under a small tree and had a cup of tea untill the rain died off a bit, after 20mins it stopped so moved to the 1st set which is a 4 holer just inside of a hedg

  22. Right I bought a knife at an outdoor shop which to be fair it was cheap! £2.75 to be precise. Now I know you pay for what you get but the bloke in the shop swerved me of a £8.00 paunching knife for a straight 3inch thing and he's said that its better quality and the blade lasts longer...now on gutting some rabbits the other night the knife will not slice up through the skin. I've sharpend it and its still usless! So can anyone recomend a decent cheap-ish knife and nothing to big either? Thanks.
  23. Hope you get sorted mate, sorry to hear about your other dog. Did she not take or was is something else?
