  2. thanks Graham, she looks a strong bitch, like her mother but maybe a bit more powerful again. nice to see her out in the field, sure she enjoys it. she is 17 weeks today
  3. i think he did everything expected of him in the field and more, i'd like to know if there's brothers, sisters and aunties and uncles out there still i was told he had a brother called Jonny that was killed in a kennel fight with two bull crosses.

  5. I have a 3/8 5/8 here son of this dog, bred in Yorkshire. A member on here went out with Tyson and his late owner, said he was a decent dog. Just wondering if anyone on here has anything bred off this dog.

  9. i have Haix MOntana and K2 Montana good in every way except the grip is dreadful on wet grass, K2 much better, but a short boot so you need good gaiters
  10. if you have the right land to hunt them could be useful. ideal for daytime on the hill couple i know of open up when coursing.

  13. in fairness the mod in question never claimed they were the best at any task but i think its fair to say he got the best out of those particular dogs not doubting that at all mate nor am I having a go, just saying theres better breeds proven over a long time so I cant see the point in the cross i wouldn't dispute that John, agree that its not a mating you would do intentionally. just off to check on my corgi x poodle, done 8 hrs in the ground today and bit sore

  16. i went over to Dungannon last year with Old Dog and had a great weekend, first class hospitality. Hope you had a good days hunting.
  17. people peddling books is the reason the standard of working dog books have gone down when i was a kid books were 700/800 pages long and gifted not sold if i was struggling with a chapter i could phone a mate and he would come and help me finish it now they are sold before they have been read thoroughly :tongue2:

  21. im sure a member on here used to have a Cocker x black terrier. He ran it with a couple of lurchers, but had to have a B&F on it as it would drop in no bother think he bolted quite a few
