    Just ordered a ridgeline torrent looks a good bit of kit ideal weight to be able to wear year round with the underarm zips and being fully waterproof

    Stripping a hw rifle isn't very hard and see if it's got any packers or washers in and take these out first and check the power then if not then take a coil off don't be doing both and dropping the power to low

    Get yourself some old Dpm from the army shop. Stay away from cheep jack pyke shite. Have a few walk rounds at different times of the day if you can. You will find the 'hotspots' then can target them by sitting and waiting. Another thing is the quarry isn't going to be sat there all day like the hft targets. Get the shot off but don't rush it. The rest comes from experience just get out and enjoy

    If your thinking of putting the grease on the o rings then if I was you I'd research the affect of high pressure air/gas with oil and grease. Quick lick of the finger and rub round the seals normally works a treat

    Don't use the felt pads you shoot through the gun it's like dry firing your rifle they are so light and will do more damage than good

    Hard little b*****ds are squirrels, I shot one with my old ultra in .177 straight through the head between the eye and ear and when I walked over to pick it up it latched on to my hand with all its claws and had to pull its neck. That was one reason I rarely shoot .177. You only have to hold one to feel how hard and compact they really are. Everyone has these shots now and again don't worry about it you did the right thing.

    Snake protection on the moors just extra protection as you can be walking anywhere hunting not just footpaths where you can see the holes and dangers
