  1. They use te theoben has rams and the old theobens use to run 20-30flbs depending on model so can't see why they wouldn't work that high. Try doing some research on export models eg the American guns and see what flbs they run at from the factory
  2. Get really good at stalking, then you can club the things with the stocks. Can pick up a decent second hand springer for £150
  3. After use the piston seals size themselfs to the compression chamber so If it's not broke don't change it, if the seal works fine and no lose of air how is the v-Mach going to better it?
  4. Look out for the cheap weihrauchs an old hw35, , 77 I picked my hw97k mk1 for 160 so can be done and you won't need another gun
  5. Anyone watching this on discovery? Interesting watch being a welder/sheet metal worker myself.
  6. There should be 3 taps in a set, the last one is ithe want you will want to use
  7. It's a piece of piss just go slow and a touch of oil
  8. Just redrill it using a 5.4mm bit (pretty sure that's the size drill bit for 6m tap) so can retap it using an 6m tap set finishing off using a no.3 bit meaning you can put the threads to the bottom of the hole without drilling right through. Easy enough to do just don't snap the tap. If you get stuck with the taps and sizes give me a shout il see what iv got at work spare but there not expensive
  9. After I posted that I looked one BAR and purchased a v-Mach spring. It cost about £30 with postage so will be turning spring guild and top hat when that comes next week but I need to know thickness of the end bits of them to determine the power
  10. Nice video mate good shooting with the camera on the back it isn't easy
  11. Iv recently picked up an old hw97k mk1 25mm piston. My step father owns his own tool room and he's going to have a top hat machined as it doesn't have one at the moment and possibly a spring guild but the current one is nice but the gun is only doing 8 1/2 flbs. Another option is buying a v-Mach spring and making my own derlin top hat and guide
  12. I think what everyone is forgetting that a quality springer such as hw97,77,,35 tx200 are all quite heavy rifles for a young lad. If you got an ultra, s200, fn12 something abit lighter he will enjoy shooting it a lot more then once he gets older and tires of hitting everything buy a quality springer and have the option
  13. Iv just been out then with my uncle sore a few but were gone before you got with a 100m
  14. Except your the one getting shot down by them hahaha
  15. Some land I shoot on is owned by the shooting syndicate but rented to the farmer for sheep and beast grazing. I have the 'vermin' right by any method I chose. I mainly shoot on Sundays when they arnt their and on Saturdays when the pheasant season isn't on
  16. Depends on the angle of the shot acute (smaller) angles need hold over dependant on range and obtuse (very steep) angles need hold under because the pellet is still rising to the target. Best just shooting some pine cones while walking the woods
  17. Can't personally see why you would need more than x8 mag for air gun ranges? The mtc glass iv looked through has been nice and would probably buy some if I had the cash
  18. Very nice mate, if it's shoots as good as it looks it just be very nice. Atb bud
  19. Flat heads are better round the farm yard where more stopping power and less penetration is needed. They start to spread out in the groups around 25m so not great in the field. Stick to a good dome head their more accurate at range
  20. Very nice bit of kit that Arron mate, good luck tomorrow bud
  21. Nice shot but far to much video gameish that rifle. Think my permission owner would laugh at me if I turned up with that to do a black ops attack with night Vision on a few rabbits. Atb
