    yeah that guys an idiot tried to sell me a hatstand striker saying its full power and accurate saying you should only hunt out to 35 yards with an air gun. bob dunkleys in the boro is a good gun shop for pellets and scopes and a few second hand rifles. they have a hft event on the 28th if its any interest to you

    dont think il be buying another hawke scope, the nite eye i have on the r10 has a good thick reticle for lamping and keeps zero perfectly well but they just seem very fragile wouldnt want to knock it out hunting for fear of it breaking. atb mate

    Well how would you feel going to work on an empty belly? Regular feeding each night and you won't go wrong. It's like a right of passage up here if you want to start hunting wether it's shooting or out with dogs you start off ferreting Plus if your not driving it's an excuse to get pissed on slow gin in the morning need anyother info drop me a pm bud Atb

    I had ferrets before guns and dogs and still love working them on a cold winters morning. Can take big numbers in a morning work but they are great little things forget the stereotype of they being biting little b*****ds they are soft as shit if you handle them

    The bsa shrouds fit on to any of the bsa barrels so it isn't really a specialist job for him to do Atb

    Simon please don't lie on an open forum to make yourself look good to everyone else. Everyone knows you can't shoot 189 rabbits, 13 squirrels and 103 pigeons with a spring rifle in one year! Lmfao But I too was wondering what makes a hunter a 'pro hunter' is it the fact they drive round with big guns looking for caged animals to be realised and shot for no other reason than to have one in their living room and not on the discovery channel? This could get interesting, atb guys

    Iv been knocking afew off during the summer to show my face to land owners but prefur it in the winter months as everything has bread and ready to be shot

    I had a look at the simmons range of scopes and it appears they only do the simple 30-30 exsept for and scope called the 8-point which from what I gathered is only a budget milldots scope anyway with not the best reviews

    iv got 2 r10s and love them. like the look of the compact r10 with ultra barrel and shroud, but for a pure hunting rifle the r10vc fits the bill nicely. great handling stock, simple bolt action, 10shot mag, more shot than you could ever need and accurate as any other rifle out there once matched which the right pellet. the one thing i do want tho is a nice mtc scope to go on top like yours. thats one serious hunting set up atb bud

    Both my r10s are great and my old ultra matched daystates on the hft course, you see a lot of hw97 and hw100 for sale so they must be shite aswel then are they?
