  1. I think that is the way Bob. I felt a tight a git letting mine stay in season and felt bad when I lost her for the sake of a 13 quid jab. Just my experience so I won't leave a jill in season my self. It was never a money issue just thought it would be ok as come winter she came back to life again but not that third year. Got two hobs here so one is getting the snip soon

  4. I left my jill in season for 3 years on the trot and her condition wasn't great while in season and then in the last year she died. She was about 6-7 at the time. I think mr K is onto some thing not leaving them for consecutive years
  5. They are bloody tasty I am a big fan. Well snared very nice. Snaring is an art form in it's self. I would try and snare a couple my self if I had the skills to find the runs. They are not that obvious in my area where they pass through the hedges. .
  6. I found the worst that happens if you time it a bit too close to going out they just throw it up. I like to give it 5 or 6 hours

    Moochers is fine, Micky is no dog thief, THL is fine all is well in the world. Plenty on here have made an arse of them selves after a few beers and back in the day I would have been one of them.

  19. I take it straight lined means the dog doesn't put a turn in the quarry ? In which case I could say mine has never been though he hasn't seen that much action. Just throwing it in there and his a good shot. We do like a picture lol
