  1. That's nonsense. Not sure how you can get stalking experience without a gun to shoot them with. They really do make it up as they go along. Are you a member of a shooting organisation?

Bloody hell Sean. That was like reading a Mills and Boon or Jilly Cooper novel. ?
  3. Nice shooting Dave. I'd rather eat the fox than cold pilchards.
  4. What a coincidence eh? Might have the wrong person though as mine is store bought.
  5. It does have a folding stock. How did you know?
  6. When I'm not using NV I use a 6x42 on my 22LR. My "garden" 10/22 has a 4x32 on.
  7. Nice going. How big can those thornbacks get and do you put them back or eat them?
  8. Very interesting. I don't think his lack of gloves is anything to do with not knowing anything, but more to do with not being subjected to the same (possibly EU) rules on Health and Safety as we are here. I don't think we can compare here with there and now with the old days. My Dad was a butcher and seeing him in his shop in the 70s and 80s would give modern H&S people a heart attack but we never died from eating the meat from there. He often came home with fresh stitches in his hand from a trip to A&E. The only thing I would question (not disagree with) is that the mould o
  9. My favourite go-to calibre. That's some barrel on it! The problem I found with reloading for it is with some of the loads the rounds are too long for the mag, but obviously you won't have that problem. I've just settled on middle of the road loads with Lil'gun powder and 35gr V-max. Some people say small pistol primers are better but I've not noticed the difference. Crimping does make a difference though. P.S. Very disappointed with the pic. I expect every pic from the U.S to have a huge 4x4 truck with massive A/T tyres.
  10. You won't be leaving a fox carcass unless you have a gun will you?
  11. Nor me,. Not my thing, but I would on a wild boar and one of those could f**k you right up.
  12. I used something similar for finding the level on a patio. Glad I paid attention in physics classes.
  13. It would be perfect if you made one using the 345 techniique.
  14. I doubt they'd be allowed to simply put a filter in front of the laser as the laser would still be the same power.
  15. That might be counter height to lanky folk such as yourself.
  16. With you there Dave. Crocs with no socks make my toes sore. They aren't really warm enough to double as slippers though IMO. I often go to the shop in my slippers. ?
  17. No-one has asked the question why the top of the fridge can be no more than 43" high. Low ceiling perhaps?
  18. Well that's convenient. 2-3 months turnaround on repairs. FFS.
  19. I've always stuck with recommended overall length on my reloads. I just assumed there's a reason manufacturers make them the length they do.
  20. Great stuff GL. I haven't seen a gudgeon in years.
