  1. He runs about two per month based upon demand, all in the Hemel Hempstead/Kings Langley Herts area and charges £40 per day per person. Im going along to the 17th November one, there is one on the 16th too.

A mate of mine teaches Metropolitan Police Dog Handlers first aid for dogs and is running a few one day courses in west Herts this November The course is split into 3 Modules over the day Module 1 Module 2 (lots of hands on) Module 3 Purpose of 1 1st actions at a scene - scene assessment, Health & safety around injured dogs Primary assessment ABC of care When & how to use CPR (using mannequins) Practicing mouth to snout Recovery position, yes there is one for a dog Also finding a pulse, breathing rate etc Stress Module 2 1st Aid kits Bleeding – various Bandaging Wounds/injur

  7. Ive often wondered about the hunting dogs of old. I couldnt comment upon the correct modern strains to breed for these dogs but, these are truly awesome animals and as well as a credit to there owners IMHO on there day no doubt good to have out and about
  8. Guy I know lost his whippet, over 48 hours it was spotted over about a 10 mile square radius, eventually got it back but shitty situation. Chuffed it worked out well
  9. As I understand it back in the dark old days the mastiff crosses were for ripping people apart in battles and the greyhound crosses on game...? Magnificent dogs, Id love one

  15. Got a young pup and she has been travelling with me at weekends, mainly to shows. I never drive for more than 2 hours without a good stop. When I collected her it was a 400 mile round trip and she was fine on the way back. Now she is always sick in the car, anything I can do to get her through this? She eats dry food.
