Great gesture Dido, well done.
Ratbuster, there's a pile of porn DVDs in work if you want them, some German classics from the 70s, ie, lots of under arm and crotch hair.?
Just heard an advert on the radio asking you to just text "hat" to donate 3£ to Syrian refugees for a hat and scarf to help them with the cold weather! WTF!! What about our poor folk up in Cumbria, flooded out and waiting on insurance companies? I say text "raft" to send the fookers back?
I agree Neil. May is anti human being and is the biggest twat on the face of the earth. In my opinion, a day with hounds is a privilege and to those who truly have hounds well being at heart it will be an enjoyable, never to be forgotten experience
Got one at a keepers place. Free if you can get there. North west area, not far from Oldham. Not been used for a while but caught some stuff over the years. Home made
There located about 40 minutes away from me, I'm going to take a spin over and see what the gear is like during the week.
I'll post up the outcome.
Anyone else used it?
I'll be interested in the outcome of your visit Voon
Badger. Foxes tend to live above ground, they won't use a hole day after day like badgers unless the weather is really hard. And when they do, it'll be the nearest hole they can find in their territory. The only time you'll find a fox using an earth regularly is when a vixen has cubbed in it and then not for long. As soon as the Cubs eyes are open and they are up and about, they'll be moved to another spot in cover with holes to use for bolting to.
20-30 holes in a row? Definitely a badger sett which a fox will use now and then. Probably over a hundred years in the making!
Cudworths of Norden in Rochdale do good gear. I've a moleskin waistcoat from them and it's great quality. I was in there last week for a sweater. Have a look on their website.
Best jacket I've got and ever had is an Aigle. I bought it at the Midland about ten years ago and it's still going strong. It's made with MTD material which is like cordura. Really hard wearing stuff and never lets a drop of rain in. I can't find the same coat for sale now, they must have stopped making them. On top of that I've been wearing an army issue coat I bought off flipper al who's on here. Had it on all weekend in atrocious weather and I was bone dry underneath. Definitely worth considering.
Supply your own sample Gnash and tell the taxidermist how you would like it mounted. Or as has been said, buy off the shelf what has already been done.
Nice to meet you PK. 'Twas a great weekend both on and off the fell. We got home not long ago and are looking forward to next years do' already. Great to see the young 'uns in attendance and the social side is thriving in them parts. ?
It has been illegal to take wild birds eggs since 1954 and illegal to possess eggs taken after that date under a 1981 act. It is illegal to sell any wild birds egg irrespective of its age. The law is very strict when it comes to collecting birds eggs and the onus falls on the person with any eggs to show eggs in their possession are legally held. So your mate should be looking to obtain collections prior to '54. Or look on eBay for replicas
I've just renewed mine with the AA. Original quote was for renewal and was 205£ for me and my daughter. Checked on line, RAC for the same cover was 130£ and new customers with the AA 155£! Phoned them and got it for 150£, fixed for the next two years. Might have gone with the RAC but the two year fixed price swayed me. Been with them for years now. Check your insurance, some offer it with your policy.
