  1. eh? Ah, they (the police) didn't take anything from you. They had a go/interrogated you severely, as if you had killed someone. Not sure about the last bit
  2. I would not breed from this officer...

  3. To be fair, I am a linguist and still don't know whats actually happened. Need to be smarter than a smartarse to get the gist as to what has happened. Did the plod actually take the dogs, gear, made any arrests, cautioned anyone? Whats the story? D
  4. mines 1/8 whip, 1/2 grey and 3/8 bull but she seems to have a fairly narrow muzzle - like I said, I hope she turns out as well as yours
  5. with friends like that..... Must be brothers! My 2 lads are like that, honestly, sometimes it seems we are in the set of 'Step Brothers'.
  6. Well she is correct on the first point, and wrong on the second,I shot a dog fox the other night and it was huge, deffo some big uns about this year thats for sure. So 240 odd fpe to the cranium isn't enough to do the job on a fox? Curious.
  7. Nope.....i'd make it one. Too many folk in this country as it is without having 15 bairns ffs. Thats 15 bloody jobs they need just for that house......... To many folk on the planet! 7 billion and counting... fairplay though the dad works hours a week, still I wonder how much they get in benefits hours a week of frickin peace!
  8. 15 kids! Great if they are heading for degrees, pillar of society type leadership jobs etc. I wonder if this is the case here Why so many? It certainly isn't because the planet is running low on humans, quite the bleedin opposite in fact.
  9. I find bitches more biddable, but to be fair my dogs aren't far behind. A lot reckon that the opposite gender of the owner works best, not sure why. With regard to the OP and a harder voice possibly being too much for a bitch; I think that's more to do with the breed mix. Eg anything with a bit of bull in it seems to have a more robust temperament than other breeds and do better with a firmer owner.
  10. 'kinell! I'll get your coat
  11. My Mrs would have 'gone off her tits' at me about that lol. The result on Charlie wouldn't have helped my case much either. Good read - thanks very much
  12. my feo says the .17 hmr isn't enough gun for the job. That said, she also told me that the max calibre for muntjac is .223. Clearly, her knowledge is severely lacking when it comes to rifles. Nice head shot at 120 yards; good going fella
  13. Lay off the sauce mate!
  14. Whats her breeding Mintstick? I love brindles and my lil' girl (14 weeks old) is a sandy grey brindle. I hope she turns out as well as yours Duncan
  15. altogether now.......................awwwww! Bonny looking pups you kept - nice!
  16. Not sure, and could you make the writing a bit bigger?
  17. Feck me , won't she ever STFU!

  18. Really I think the point of this section is for people to go as guests on someone elses permission rather than gaining new permissions for themselves. I've made a couple if new friends on here who I occasionally go and shoot with or do other field sports and return the favour as and when I can. I also have taken people out to help them learn what I can show them or just give them a change from their usual scene. One chap in particular has more and better hunting ground than I could offer in return, but we always have a good laugh and seem to be quite likeminded. Good luck with your que
  19. The only problem with listening to other peoples opinions is that they are other peoples opinions lol. You can still get the 'wrong dog' according to some, but to be fair, a bit of guidance can often help. Good luck with whatever you decide
  20. Not only will I give you permission for the wjole of Cumbria, I'll also grant you every friday off work for the rest of the year to go hunting. Just tell your boss 'The Duncan' said its ok

  22. Fair one, I don't understand why the reporter asked her a question that is obviously going to be answered in the negative? Yep, if a reporter asked a mum how she felt about cars after her little lad had been killed by one, I doubt the repsonse would be indifferent or positive. The thing is, no-one ever gets a reporter about a kid/person getting killed in a car accident, simply because it isn't 'news'.
  23. Tax return - what a ball ache!
