  1. Anyone want to buy a PW badge? Very little use lol.
  2. especially when she's got him by the balls
  3. Nope Your definately wrong. There is the limit and that is that. If they let you off for doing 34 in a 30 Consider yourself luck or they've hit their quota for the month Still lucky. Rgds Swampy Its behind you ning The legal practitioners I've dealt with over the years disagree. 10% + 2mph. Its referred to as 'leeway'.
  4. Well, I'm, happy with my understanding of the law, the police pursuit course instructors, the law of precedent and various other law enforcement professionals all concur. The leeway granted is not in statute, but in precedent in law (which law in this country is based on - we don't have a constitution as such) and is underpinned by ACPO and speed enforcement agencies and english courts. Didn't know the law came in verses now - thought that was the bible. 20 years of fast cars and faster bikes: still never had a speeding ticket
  5. I'd do a thai jungle curry: http://thaifood.abou...junglecurry.htm Drink the red wine as you cook the curry - allow to infuse
  6. Many thanks both She doesn't smell infected and the spot of discharge was definitely white. Alls well then thank goodness
  7. Hi folks, My 15 week old bull x is in excellent health generally, eating well, lots of energy etc. But I noticed today on a walk that she had a drop of white discharge where she pees out of. It was like a spot of pus. It's gone now and she seems A1 again. Any ideas anyone? Many thanks Duncan
  8. Depends largely on the bull breed. Can't deny the bulls have stamina to add to the mix though. My Staffordshire Bull Terriers would run and tussle all day, believe it or not!
  9. Keep looking Micckey, they do come up on here every now and then
  10. Hi all, thinking of trying some 20grain bullets in my .17 hmr; just wondering what experiences others have had regarding trajectory, useful range, accuracy/grouping etc. Thanks guys
  11. More important than 3 tonnes of kit is being in the right place, at the right time. Unless you're under/near a flightline, then all the flappers, bouncers and wobblers in the world won't make any difference. Sounds like you've enough kit to start with; I'd be getting some recce work done
  12. Remember, getting a permission is a sell. And in sales it's all a numbers game ie if your 'hit rate' is 1 in 10, then if you contact 50 places (farms, market gardens, churches, aboreta, manors with gardens etc etc ) yhou should get 5 permissions. And your hit rate depends on how you present yourself and how you make the offer of help. Remember also - you are offering a service and there are places around that do need someone reliable to help them. Good luck! Duncan
  13. I'm fine for gloves thanks Max, but nice offer! I hope they all go to people who'll benefit
  14. What no offers after 2 hours of posting this? How disappointed I am.
  15. My eldest sons glands were up so much that I asked him if he'd taken a kick to the knackers lately.

  16. When I was younger I was into church bell ringing. Rung in a lot of churches and at a lot of weddings too, in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
  17. We used to have one of those when I was a kid I remember my Gran always used to ask for someone to 'put t'wireless on'. Happy times.
  18. No pee take from me - its better to ask to come along on a shoot as a guest rather than just asking for a permission. Good luck to you Max. Duncan
  19. ideally a place close to home, with plenty of woods and fields holding plenty of rabbits, squirrels, woodpigeons etc etc A lift to and from the permission would be useful too please, and maybe some pheasant feeders around to keep attracting game would be nice too. Please help as I've written some letters and not got nowhere and no-one's called me.

  21. vitimin k3 is used by vets as an antidote to anticoagulent poisoning ie rat poison sounds more like some form of eye infection conguntivitus or something I was thinking conjunctivitus.
