  1. Must be nice to shoot at targets that aren't gonna shoot back too. Keep safe! and 'fall out the officers'
  2. Cos he's a dogman. Thats what dogmen say, same if you're talking about hares and rabbits too.
  3. Seems to get worse once you open the can of worms marked 'shotgun' Glad my wife doesn't shoot, then she'd know exactly how much I splurge on shooting lol.
  4. yeah - get one of those mystical 'pre-ban' bull x's
  5. quickest way is to view their profile and there's a send message button.
  6. as the case was described, I'd be suing the swine for everything they have.
  7. Let's face it Rich, and being perfectly frank here, the evidence (circumstantial or coincidental) does point overwhelmingly to you being richmcgin reincarnated. Nothing against you, but you are dealing with people here who are in their 30's to 's and have seen all this before. Just be yourself mate, and you'll find the THL membership piss-taking in a friendly way, but forgiving. We are a bunch of blokes n ladies after all. All the best Duncan
  8. Thank god January is almost over - worst month of the year!

the summer months are worse....too hot, flies, no hunting, no footy, lame!

  9. Who said you should? I am somewhat confused by your first 2 posts, just what point are you trying to get across that has not been covered in this thread several times already? I am very cautious and sceptical very often as many here know, you joined at 12.40 today and decided to enter this thread as a starter, I take it you are richmcgin come back for another bite! rmac ..... richmcgin Crossed my mind too - call me old mr cynical old mr cynical  happy know ecstatic
  10. Well Rich, yes and no. We are welcoming to all unless theres an overwhelming whiff of bullshit to them or when they are clearly spouting crap they don't have the balls to face it up, but try and front it out. Everyone makes mistakes, but only a proper man will stand up and face it. Whether you are richmcgin or not, welcome to the site and I look forward to some decent conversation with you bud. Cheers Duncan.

  12. Have you taken her to a vets to get scanned for a microchip? All my dogs are chipped in case this happens. The vet should charge nothing - I know 'pets at home' scan for free.
  13. I love the way a Tongue in cheek thread can lead to lots of airgundogs chasing their tails ad nauseum, with largely irrelevant minutiae.
  14. Lol! I've seen guys who can't hit anything beyond 75 yards with them, so a flat trajectory does not a sniper make
  15. Lol! I was actually taking the pee about the hmr trajectory After .22lr, the hmr is a dream.
  16. I think it's down to personal preference and taste as much as anything. I've used cz's but had a bad experience with a varmint in .22. Can't fault my Weihrauch HW60J. Perfect trigger out of the box, one hole groups out to silly ranges. Beautiful stock too. The cz is more functional, still very well built and just as accurate, probably Weihrauch is twice the price of the cz - give or take and I think this also has a bearing on it's popularity. Maybe try a couple if you can? You can hav a go with mine if you're close enough bunnyslayer. Cheers Duncan.
  17. Nothin wrong with expressing your opinions, problems arise when people profess to be experts when they are clearly anything but. 'just an average shot' - speak for yourself lol! Duncan.
  18. I like them. I find the one on my beretta so bright that you end up not looking for it. That said the plain brass one on my Hilton is no hindrance- maybe as I've become more experienced with shotguns the bead has become less of an issue altogether. Next time I get chance I'll have a go with gun without a bead. Atb Duncan
  19. Used to waste them, now I make dummies with them for dog training. Thinking of doing a hat for next winter, maybe some slippers for the mrs. Quilt sounds good
  20. Bloody good rifles the 95K, miss my one I sold, but only so much room in the gun cabinet Good luck with the sale. Duncan
