  1. Recharge is good gear I have noticed a difference in my dogs after a hard night/day.
  2. The crux is that IMO the plus points do not out weight the negative points with many of the primitive spitz types breeds. Yes they have reasonable feet and yes they have a nice enough jacket and stamnia of a sort, but do they have the mentality, temperament and potential working traits for a lurcher in the UK? I would say NO. I have been lucky enough to see many hundreds of Siberian Huskys, Malamutes, Greenland dogs and other associated breeds of this type over the years. And other than feet, stamina and jacket, everything else was a complete turn off, lets face it the skills you need to pull
  3. I dont have SKY Cant wait to see the Prison..... Anyone have a link??

  7. Country file is very biased in favour of the antis towards hunting, sad really... I have written to them on a couple of occasions about there mis information and obvious bias.

  12. That's what the pin point is for, it narrows down the range.
  13. If its what you got go for it your sure to bolt a few if not all if they are good. but ideally I would work 3 or 4 as it really panics the rabbits and you can do the bigger spots.

  17. A nice early start for Sunday morning’s session saw us on the hills for 7.15 for a mornings sport. We had no real plans of what warrens work but settled on one I had noted a few months back which looked pretty lively but fed into a thick gorse cover. The dogs were running free and gave very positive marks in several places, but you could tell it was holding by the rabbits milling about on top..lol So it was a matter of driving the truck as close as possible then getting the gear up there, which was a fair effort in itself. Luckily I had thrown a few extra traditional longnets in when I loaded
  18. Hay is not as good as straw as it gets sweaty. Paper shreddings or straw every time for me.
  19. Just sell me the transmitter bit and buy new it makes sense to me lol
  20. The mk2 was real pants, collar design was good but they ate batteries and the box had no pinpointer or way to turn sound off.
  21. Bollocks the mk3m collars are kak IMO. I have seen the metal connectors break or fall off on the insides of at least 4 collars! They are all pretty shite at turning on and off with that crappy magnet. The best collars Deben made were the mk3 grey collars, reliable, fit better and once the battery's are in they work!
