Sound Opperated Switch ????
Mooching Celt replied to belucky's topic in Home Stuff, Building and Leisure
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wall-PIR-Motion-Detector-Light-Switch-Security-Sensor-Voice-Sound-Activated-/301212932549?hash=item4621b099c5:g:--kAAOSwcnpTmV8~ I made my own setup, not sure if it was mine that the other guys are talking about but this is the switch i used along with a washing machine inlet valve http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/380850964785?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Had to wire in a light aswell as the switch itself didn't create enough load to make the switch work properly (would switch off after timeout) It's so simple to make, i'm no -
Devastating news, had a young promising lurcher go downhill with what sounds like the same symptoms and within three days had gone from good health to walking skeleton. Had to pts and that hit me hard for days. Long may she run on in your memories

Aarron makes the collars not the coupling links he just supplies them with his collars as does Jim from blackdogtrading and, i think, Glyn Jones. I have a set i bought off ebay, mine came undone when the dogs got taffled up so i don't use tem anymore and have never used them on tethered dogs whilst out working. Imo the only time quick release couples actually have a reasonable use is when you couple up 2 dogs inclined to fight each other

Went away for a week's holiday and had a mate of the missus staying to look after the dogs and her horses. Came home to find out we had left the bedroom window open and swallows had built a nest in the corner just inside the window, missus wouldn't have it removed so curtains were clipped together and they reared a brood in the bedroom. Wasn't any sort of problem until on must have came past the curtain when the wind blew it slightly and was doing the wall of death round the room unable to get back out..........curtains pulled back and it flew out...........sh!t everywhere lol

I own a house.......the fence that runs along the front of the property is mine as is the front garden.......the driveway is mine but the path that runs alond the side of the road is not mine but the local authority's......the bit from the road to my driveway i have access rights over that's all It's the same for landowners i'm afraid, it's an access right not land ownership

Let us know how you get on and what you use, looking for something myself have a look at this one https://www.ludicrous-lumens.co.uk/collections/acessories/products/remote-control-fox-game-caller-8gb-micro-sd-card-with-300-calls I got one of those, bought a new sd card and transfered the calls i wanted over to it and saves trying to remember the numbers of them. Cracking bit of kit for the price

I got the element and i like it, it's not as quick as the red brick but very accurate, a bit of tape over the bleeper to tone it down abit and it's handy to lay at the side of the dig so you hear if the dog moves

Dermisol cream is pretty good

Remember hounds catching one many years ago.......huntsman jumped off his horse and removed the brush then tossed the carcass for the hounds to break up Told me a few years after as soon as he's let it go he thought "sh!t................should have took the mask" This one wasn't full white but had a slight sandy tinge to it.

Rat Attack Smoke Mk2
Mooching Celt replied to Poacherspocket's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
I don't get why people have to have an engine revving it's t!ts off, I use a leaf blower engine and it has a setable throttle but usually it's just ticking over and still bolts rats well. Left sat on the floor you can feel the vibrations from it standing a few feet away and that, imo, bolts rats combined with the fumes/smoke -
