I see it's that time of the year again when the begging bowls come out on facebook for funds and asking for reports of illegal hunting to be reffered to them so they can get out there and act like the screaming feckers that they are........... saviours of the countryside and all wildlife They have a number listed on their page for people to call them https://en-gb.(!64.56:886/3CHuntSabs/ Please don't call them when you get in after a night's lamping as, believe me, they do need their beauty sleep and try not to send your own number as they won't want to call you back or rep

No mate it states earlier in the thread double knitted and double knotted, there are some nets on evilbay double knitted not sure if they are from the same guy

Suzuki kingquads are pretty good with a good strong bulletproof engine, independant suspension and variable speed belt driven so no gears to mess about with. The only issue i had with mine was to electronic 4 wheel drive, mine fooked up and i got rid and bought an old but well looked after '06 500 honda with semi auto gearbox and i love it. The only thing i wish it had would be a diff lock but it hasn't been an issue to date

I can't understand why people feel the need for double knitted fox nets,i am assuming they mean double twine like the rabbit nets, why not just use heavier twine in the first place instead of using the same stuff they use on rabbit nets. As far as i am aware the use of double twine was originally for long nets and stop nets and the rabbits actually got their feet and toes caught in the mesh aswell therefore holding them more securely whereas in a pursenet you would be onto it much quicker, a rabbit in a longnet would maybe have to be held for several minutes until you had walked the field

Heard about this on radio 2 today some silly cow from a vegan organisation was on ranting about people shouldn't eat meat and everyone should live a vegan lifestyle..........boils my piss that they allow these people air time but then again it is the bbc

On the subject of batteries, if the quad is parked up in a shed/garage with electric supply get yourself a battery optimiser which will charge and discharge the battery when not in use and keep it in tiptop condition..........alot of the bike lads use them if the bike has trackers and alarms fitted over the winter when not using it. Had a suzuki and loved it now got a honda and love that bike too..........depends on whether you want to be using gears or twist and go

Don't all motorbikes have an internal wet clutch? It's just Hondas way of making more money by saying that you need proper Honda oil
-
That last lad you've mentioned seems to sell a helluva lot of dogs every year. He's not on his own mate, i think he comes from a big family
-
No difference whatsoever...........both vehicles run simular types of wet clutch. Local atv dealer wanted £36 for 4l of oil (with a honda logo on the can) bought some from local bike shop for £30

Used to ride dirtbikes, change it regularly regardless of how it looks on the dipstick.........clean oil clean engine The recommended intervals on my 400 suzuki was 6000 miles, i changed it after every other days riding and the filter was changed every other oil change so probably oil had only done about 300 miles but it's a small engine that works hard.........especially carrying some of you fat fvckers around

Night Out Shooting Cubs...
Mooching Celt replied to Rabbit Hunter's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
Had a callout this year to a litter of 6 and keeper on nearby estate had 10 out of one spot which was clearly two litters due to size/age difference in cubs, anyone else heard of two litters being together in same spot? Wasn't a big spot either -
It might be your way but it obviously works for you and you get some great sport doing it your way so who's to tell you that you're doing it wrong.....nobody
-
Just to add these w@nkers were from out of the county but the police wouldn't tell the keepers where they were from, one of the dogs had a chip in it so wouldn't suprise me if it was stolen, hopefully the rightful owner will get a shout if it was nicked. The crop they drove all over was maize about a foot tall so snapped off and destroyed, the cost of the damage they did has been estimated in the thousands and also reports have come in about the same vehicle been seen driving all over sugarbeet fields. With all the increase in people driving fields someone is going to get killed or at

Heard yesterday about some lads reported about coursing on an estate near me, thing is the day they were seen was the hottest day of the year 30 degrees plus and it was 11am, 3 dogs running a hare when the keepers turned up lads driving their scooby through standing crops. Dogs left running and lads did a runner after managing to grab one of the dogs............ Police now have the two other dogs. This post is not about the rights or wrongs of poaching, nor is it about driving fields but come on.....running dogs in that sort of heat??? imo not true dog lads nor even what you could

What is it with these idiots posting videos up as challenges..........just ring the guy up and arrange to meet up...........sorted

Once you have the relevent licenses can you just go out as and when you like or do the authorities need to be informed of your hunts and do they turn up unannounced to check that you are following the rules?
