failed dog men ???? ya having a larf surely -- ive owned fantastic lurchers in my time & own 2 cracking springer spaniels atm if someone chooses to buy a good rifle and uses it for hunting /hobby /job I say good on them ps I will never shoot a hare mind you -

nv ok for close range i.e ratting but like mac says distance judging is a bloody pain unless you know the land like the back of ya hand ---got a photon here that I will only use around farm buildings -
shooting called off as to dangerous for beaters in woods -few trees down local but not much rain [yet]

me and missus took a game in whilst visiting barcelona -off we went to nou camp [shit hole] to watch barca v.s Valencia barca won 6-0 and the only singing we could hear was from a bunch of lads from England! after match we travelled on tube back to hotel and the atmosphere was very subdued & that's after a win lol

I have deerhunter jacket and it has stood the test of time think I paid £100 for it then bought deerhunter salopettes £100 and although a bit warm when beating they keep me dry and are tough as owt

think the lad was going on a night squirrel hunt he wouldn't shoot birds illegaly

photon allows you to use I both day / night [bit grainy in daylight] but ive shot woodies up trees mate no problems

I use the photon as I couldn't get my head around the screen thing -I found the screen also lit you up [no good for poaching]

well said phil -I wouldn't put up with any crap I would just walk away and find the "right "shoot where im appreciated -ps a good keeper will tell you without a decent set of beaters the shoot wouldn't work -

I beat for a couple of sound keepers -its the bloody guns I don't get along with! im trudging through brambles etc to put birds over them and there on there fckin mobiles as birds fly over them ! last week a couple of guns had girl friends with them and all they did was kiss cuddle and giggle all day & poor keeper gets judged on number of birds shot -whats all that about I ask myself -
sell ya rapid!!!! sacralige -never heard the likes lol

my intentions were to go on a squirrel hunt but for some unknown reason I missed nearly every one I spotted -anyway I heard & saw a group of bandits on outskirts of a wood so I tucked in and using the "u caller" I got them to come for a look 1st shot and one dropped like a brick [why did I miss easier squirrels }? the rest flew off but veered back round and started the cackling thing I lined another up and Smack! dropped it into fallen leaves the others flew at it and were pecking and pulling at it ! ooooh I thought this looks good and in the next few minutes I dropped
