  1. Fella I know was called "the cat", most folk thought it's because he played in goals when he was younger, it's actually because he got caught short coming home from the pub one night and had a shit in his neighbours garden.
  2. Have tried quite a few over the years, am now using Autarkey adult salmon and am more than happy with it, still feed a fair bit of raw as well. And at about £20 a sack I'm not breaking the bank.
  3. I was always led to believe it was a single dose from 6 months old onwards?
  4. I was just replying to Lofti's comment, I never slated the lad for doing what he did, simply said it wasn't for me. If the lads ground is crawling with rabbits crack on, it's still not the way I'd be operating. Hit them hard from Sept to late Feb then give them a break to breed and replenish their numbers for next season. There's one certainty with those 20 rabbits though, we know how many they'll reproduce, lol.
  5. Read the post, mixi everywhere i would be doing the same, would you not. I wouldn't be doing it Lofti, no keen on killing rabbits at this time of the year. Yes mixi will kill off some but if the lad kills them as well he'll no can blame anyone else if there's a shortage of rabbits there come September. How many young would those 20 rabbits have produced over the summer?
  6. Be very interesting to find out how that dog gets on mate. Heard a few times now that the first out on the first litter turns out to be a real good dog. Could be shite but it certainly worked for me. Atb with the litter... Behave yersel, everyone knows white lurchers are shite. Some size o' a litter Ken, all the best wae them.
  7. Did the vet say why you weren't to use the porta mag for now?
  8. Had dogs 30 years Gaz and to be honest the weight of the dogs didn't have any effect on their seasons. Re the women athletes, probably more to do with the gear they take lol. Reminds me of the old joke. Female Russian athlete goes to the doctor and says to him, "doc I've grown a cock, do you think it could be because of the steroids I've been taking"? The doc asks, "anabolic"? To which she replies, "no doc, just a cock." Lol I like that one. I'm pretty sure it's called Amenorrhea in female athletes and a lot of research has been done with regards to body fat and horm

  18. Very good point that. It's just common sense Gaz.
  19. I would say that if you had a dog that was, in your words, "say 3 r4 and you tryed everything to stop it but would run round the field for ten minutes", I would put that down to an issue with the handler rather than the dog.
  20. Certainly wasn't a scam, I ended up getting 37kg of it for £3.
  21. Good write up Phil, a refreshing change to hear someone talk highly of other men and their dogs. Fair play to Tomo and Vin for sharing the experience with youse.
  22. Only got the one dog here and she eats it no problem, seems to be okay stuff. Won't be continuing with it though as it's a tad expensive.
