  8. My youngest got his first sea trout last night at 9.20pm on a silver toby, be about 2lbs.
  9. Crackin' pics MIK, I see some sea trout amongst them. What size was the fish you're holding in the first post, the one with the big tail and the single handed rod on the ground in front of you, it looks a biggie.
  10. Had another go for the sea troot last night and managed one, couple of pics from last night.
  11. Been a poor season for the night fishing for me, not been many about and also been a bit too much water at times. Got this one a couple of weeks back on a wee stoats tail variant that I knocked up myself.

  16. Always good to have old pics to look at and remind us of the past. RIP, Coke.
  17. Looks like it's nothernlite who's been on the wine.
  18. Aint singling you out, and have no axe to grind with anyone in particular as to what they choose to do with their dogs. But there are people on here that wouldn't have one negative reaction for certain actions, yet if someone new to the site did a similar thing there'd be holy f**k about it. Personally I couldn't give a monkey's chuff what people do, just seems a bit hypocritical at times what some members on here preach You saying there's a clique on here? Naw, canny have that like.
  19. You been having a snooze? http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/358114-what-a-lucky-pup/
  20. Recharge contains sodium citrate which can have detrimental effects on dogs. As has already been said on the other thread dogs should be able to get all the electrolytes they need from their diet.
  21. im the same, nothing more promising than a mans word. If only that was true, not doubting both of you are men of your word but that's not the case with a lot of men. Only bred the one litter about 13 years back and only had two pups to sell but boy o boy did I have some timewasters. Sure plenty of others will have experienced the same as me.
  22. Don't rate the grade of dogs at Sunderland if I'm honest, certainly wouldn't pay much for one in A4 grade. Who told you the dog would come on at a galloping track, the seller? If you give me his name I'll have a look at his form and give an honest opinion.
  23. Always had running dogs aboot me, greyhounds and lurchers. Was walking them through ma village years ago when a man stopped me and asked what speed the dogs could run at, I told him I had no idea and asked why. "Oh" he said, "I had my dalmation running alongside the car yesterday and he was doing 44mph". So yer wee whippet cross has tae find another gear.
