  3. ohh when your smiling, ohh when your smiling, the whole world smiles with you..... and when your laughing..
  4. Fekin hell mate your geography is bad!! Lol, cork and kerry are bottom left corner, meath is way up midlands!!
  5. put on the lamb ring, pull the hair out from under the ring when you put it on and leave the hair lie out over the ring. wont even know its there and after about 10 days it will be gone and the hair will be going over the end of the tail just like it was out over the ring.
  6. The guy in the village you were making it for not want it anymore? Hate that when sombody takes the piss....
  7. i dont think 200 will get much in the line of even a second hand co2 welder. secondly there are pretty decent machines available in single phase 220v capable of penetrating double the gauge of a landy chasis.im not sure about uk but in ireland we have to have a licence to get the bottles of cougar 5 and argon and that works out expensive as you can only rent the bottles anually and then pay for refills as needed. there is a 280 turbo mig here running on single phase so thats a pretty substancial machine. the 3phase ones are alot smoother power delivery at higher amperages as the bigger single
  8. As above, 200 quid wont get you much of a mig either. That leg has been patched and plated before by the look of it so you dont know the extent of the stress the new patch work will have to withstand. Best put the money towards getting it done right,
  9. terriers and do gooders dont mix to well, best thing to do if your going for a stroll with terriers free casting is always collor up and stay away from places with public and do gooders about!!
  10. ive a feeling this story is going to be one of the most common scenarios that goes on between lads when dog are involved. ive had more rows over stories like this and fell out with more lads than id care to remember down through the years. when it comes to dogs there are very very few you can trust, a word means nothing anymore unfortunately. As far as i am concerned i will never enter into any form of partnership, breeding program, loaning dogs or give away with the intention of getting something back of them in the future. 90% of the time it will be hassle, dishonesty and a fall out!! on
  11. Your right, there is london and there is london, and there is no fresh air in central london, thats why people are going round wearing them stupid masks all the time! but i think most of us are talking about the same london, the centre, 16/17 million tourists are going out to the outskirts are they, its all central London. As far as night life goes i think thats very poor aswell, never an atmosphere or a proper good ole tear and very few will socialise with ya, since ive been working here ive never had a hangover that i said was worth getting other than ones where we went out of london for,
  12. Im staying in ilford!!! Thats where im going wrong!! Lol
  13. I think the average London salary is around the 35k mark, but I could be wrong.......I think the main reason is the overwhelming demand for property in decent areas. for what i do anyway its alot better in london than home, and at a guess id imagine 90% of the lads in construction in london get better money than at home.
  14. Its everything in proportion i suppose.... For what you would pay for a shitty little flat in london you could get a smashing 3/4 bed house on a couple of acres in 90% of the place in ireland... But the wages wont be the same and quantity of work so i guess its a supply and demand thing in london, they can charge because there is such demand.... I'll stick with my pad in the country at home and just rent this shit hole while im in the big smoke!!! No comparisson in my view!!
  15. available in mint condition on ebay for 45 with free postage mate,
  16. i have known of a similar story perthshire keeper, my uncle reared a couple from pups down through the years amazing to see how tame they get, this was before the protection act of 1976. a license could be obtained to hunt otters in ireland for a period after this act, but if memory serves me right the packs agreed to stop hunting otters and instead all agreed to change to hunting mink as they were vermin and no licence needed, and like all good sporting hunters if the species was in danger they should be rightly left alone......here in munster it has been documented to have one of the healthi
  17. I bought two originally, one for myself and one for a family member for xmas. We find them spot on and they are used now instead of our liteforces. I then ordered another 20 odd lamps for members on here that were interested in them. All the reports are good bar one who didn't like it. Thats about as much as i can say about them really!
  18. Acebeam k50 mate, they are a decent lamp.
  19. Well I suppose it's good to see someone who likes it, fair play to you!To me it's just a pit full of Arabs, people from countries ending in "istan", Eastern European stowaways, Con artists from Africa. Unfriendly pubs with overpriced beer and lousy food, a tube system that is dirty and dilapidated beyond belief. Crapping pigeons, winos, people in cardboard boxes, rip off tourist spots, litter. Don't miss it, never will miss it! Perfectly spoken my good man!!! And so eliquently putLol spot on mate,
  20. There is like hell!!! I agree The life in london is probably more for the intellectual buisness orientated indivduals.... For those of us that are maybe less sophisticated and pleased by lifes simple things then there are fewer places in the world that can make us happier than the smell of fresh air, flora and fauna thriving all about us and no jigantic industrial eyesores obstructing the beautiful rolling countryside for as far as the eye can see.... These are the invaluable life pleasures to most hunting folk alike, concrete jungles have no sympathy for a man and his canine companions!! Lol,
  21. Im similar matty yep! This place boils my blood but the shillings are good!! Plus the euro sterling rate is the best its been in years at the minute so its making it that bit more worth while for me!! There is absolutely nothing to do here after work, and them tubes are some ball ache!!!
  22. That aimed at me neil? Aimed at anyone who thinks it's macho to use such stupid terms. Also IMO I think it would be no harm for you to remove that video for reasons I'm not going to mention on here. Oh,and it was 1992 that Otter Hunting was eventually abolished in Eire. I never use/used those terms, smashed an the likes, but i have spoke of what i have heard about terriers and otters from yesteryear so maybe your post does include me, but i like many more have every right to post of what i like, be it first hand or experiences ive been told of..... I usually agree with most of your posts
