The coursing was on in clonmel the weekend, our local coursing club ran the qualifyiers for it here a couple of weeks ago. They had more than enough runs to run off all the dogs present but they had to run it a second day because alot of the slips the dogs never pulled into puss to knock a turn out of him so had to run again the following day to decide the best dogs, hares were on fire, good firm ground with short grass, they recon they are the best hares they coursed in years......

I think there is small stickers on the batteries to stop them msking a connection mate, they have to be removed before the batts will take a charge. They shouldnt be fully flat anyway mate, check each batt for the stickers and then try.

Cheers mate, -
Stop bloody thinkin!!! if km honest mate i dont think so..... If you only knew how many emails were sent to and fro you'd agree with me! Plus its a hell of alot of responsibility holding sombodys money while they wait for delivery from sombody else...... It would be alot simpler this time round i havd to admit because i think we have covered all the possibilities at this stage! if i had a group of 10 that all could do the bank transfer together then i would consider it again..... But for the minute im taking a break from them!!!! Lol,

Thats all the tracking numbers gone out via pm lads, the lads still waiting on them will have them before the week is out. A success allround, Flacko i pm'd you your tracking number, be prepaired for £14 customs duty, as redcharge and you both ordered two each and he got caught for £14 customs. Could be worse, could have got caught to pay it on £210 instead of £40!!! Cheers folks. Hope ye enjoy them,
-
Have some patience!!! The remaining ones should be with ye by the end of the week!! Remember i did put up elaines email address at the start of the thread, feel free to get onto her and tell her hurry the f**k up..... I have been everyday for the last two week!!!
-
Shit! Thats because of the two..... Still, 7quid each lamp aint too bad, i got stung for more on my ones!! Lol,
-
No mate, i was had an email from her this morn to confirm the new addresses for the lads in remote areas, i had also asked her about the tracking numbers for the lamps that hadnt come yet, the reply was that they couldn't send all the order at once with the customs valuation being so low, it could get noticed, she said as soon as the first lot arrived the second lot will be away. So i would imagine that this week yours will be here.

Its home made mate, family secret, handed down from generation to generation...... No satisfaction in copying sombodys elses work anyway!!! -
I wouldn't want it any tighter tbh, its nice to be able to see the dogs every move in the spill while still having the quarry in the hot spot, nothing worse than a real tight beam and lamping somthing and seeing nothing untill the dog pulls in enough to strike.

I cant pm you back gaffer, inbox full?? I used a drill with a 42mm auger bit to bore the hole about 10 mm deep, put in the badge then poured in clear casting resin, the pewter badge is set in a clear glass window and sanded to the original shape of the antler so you cant feel any difference if you rub your finger from over the clear part onto the antler, basically replacing any antler i took out with clear resin, then polished to make it transparent. Looks the job because its an actual pewter pin badge and not just a picture. -
