    mostly used 1 dog. but had a terrier great for bushing out for a lurcher. when the lurcher caught the little jack didnt try to grab the lurchers catch he just moved away and let the lurcher retrieve. no training from me to stop the terrier interfering with the catch he just did this naturaly.

    good advice always got the dogs fit using a bike. my ferreting dog a beddie is out at the side of me on the bike every day.

    the ones ive had-trainabilty,good nose,good coat,thick skin.

    mine had food 24/7 had some good little bolters had 1 which i can count on one hand when it didnt kill.

    yes the beddie/whippets i have seen were excellent marking dogs.

    saw a couple of bedlington/whippets work over the years to rabbits.they could all find catch and mark.saw a couple from pups they marked in no time at all.

    I've known Sammy for about 20yrs,and I last spoke to him in July last year,but Sammy is very deaf now so it was hard work He is a very nice chap and very knowledgeable, infact I could listen to him all day telling his tales about days gone by and his ferreting expeditions as you say a gentleman

    to[so what] do you know sammy vaughn from powys wales if so is he keeping well. used to write to sammy years ago asking advice regarding ferreting he was always good to me. a gentleman.

    wasnt there a bloke called carl williams from south wales who used to breed grews years ago. saw one reputedly from his kennels work years ago very handy dog.

    a excellent start for the lad its a good job he didnt come with me this morning and gone home with 2 after 4 hours.

    had many many times netting up nothing at home. lurchers not allowed on my permission. got a beddie a few years ago . he hasnt let me down yet. no more frustration.

    12v battery to 12v light no problem. put a switch in if you want.so you dont have to keep connecting and disconnecting the croc clips.
