ive had some for 2 years got them from spalding catalogue.1.bluejay[early] 2.goldtraube[medium] 3.jersey[late] and i bush variety i cant remember the name of. didnt get much the first year,but they have done well this year. i have kept them in pots in ericaceous compost.was told by someone on our allotmemt to give them a mulch of pine needles.havent pruned them was told to only prune after 4 years.cropped from july through to late august.very pleasd with them so far.going to re-pot them in winter atb.
its a hancock pup for sure. looks to have good coat,feet,.must be lead training the older pups now.no reason why it cant make a decent ferreter/lamper in the right hands.
thats what its all about getting out and gaining experience.think how much he will pick up over the next few seasons if he sticks at it. great sport for a youngster. atb.
im happy going out for a quick mooch catching the odd one. or having a long day maybe getting into double figures. a good marking dog is a essential part of the team.as long as i get out work the ferrets and dog im a happy man.
a mate of mine had bed/whippetsand bed/greys for 30 years plus never had a problem with dog aggression.have a beddie myself never been dog aggressive. got a very sound temperament.
