    remember reading edrd back in 94/95 about springviews working wheatons. mark h glen had a litter for sale from the horace dog to a greyhound. did anyone have any wheaton/greys out of this dog?

    just keep taking him out. to the rabbit sets. some dogs take to it quicker than others but it will happen.

    mine is the first version mk3m with the grey sliding collar[which i think is a bad design]. are people only having trouble with the mk3kms? has the locator been upgraded for the mk3km?

    cant find any info on my specs i got with the locator. a terrier collar operates at457khz.there is a youtube video[using a mk1 collar]. it shows a radio being used instead of a locator.

    Im keeping them all, Ive got the space so I might as well. Ive got two step children who play with them for hours every day so theyre dead tame, also, the youngest will be rabbiting with me every saturday and sunday as soon as my permission starts! Roll on October! Just means a few extra shifts at work to pay for the castration bill in spring! well i wish you all the best with them.

    Suppose he is mate yeah, for his size and build, he's quite a nippy dog, Thing i love about this dog is he gives 100% in every chase, and has a lot of heart. atb with him.

    is he fast enough to catch a healthy rabbit on the run ie bolters etc

    i work a golf couse ferreting. once the terrier marks it has to be pegged down. quote from the comitee if the dog runs across the course and upsets golfers youre off. not that he would catch one anyway.its a case of beggars cant be choosers and trying to keep a low profile.some of the golfers on this course can moan for england.

    had a decent year. had the best crop of plums for many a year.

    i always had a terrier for bushing out to a lurcher. i would get a pup but that is only my opinion. good luck with your choice.
