  6. When ive had a skin full of hooligan juice i could eat a tatty more than an hungry pig,id have supped the apple juice, ate the meat on offer and then run to tesco 7 miles away for more, well maybe 4 miles?.
  7. The majority of keepers are hard working individuals and have enough on their plate, especially at this time of year, the majority of lurcher owners are as hard working and dedicated, the twats that are the minority spoil it for both camps.A keeper will obviously call on the assistance of the police if needed, its often needed. At this time of year with the hours the average keeper puts in,the last thing he needs or wants is some summer hunters straying on his patch,or even near it.A little inconvenience,at times,is to be expected when pursuing your chosen lifestyle. dont think your reading it

  10. Warm sunny afternoon, few like minded souls meeting and having the craic,a little light refreshment and a little more to be social,no trouble or handbags, whats the problem?.
  11. How do you get the sperm from the dog to the freezer bag? Any videos? Just spit it in when the jobs done.
  12. Get to a car boot and stock up on toys, then just let it do as it will with them.
  13. I had a look, digging comp. made the day for me,well run and organised, did so-so with the lurchers,i did,nt agree with some of the judging, nobody usually does unless they win,but on the whole the judges picked the dogs they thought fit,as it should be.My only gripe would be having seperate classes for bull crosses and better prizes for them, the bullcrosses were far outweighed by other type lurchers and should have received the same treatment.
  14. 31/2 and just maturing, its a fecking dog not red wine,if its still coming on at that age id find the nearest green bin.
  15. Why is it so easy to part a newbe with is folding?.
  16. The whippetys ive seen about, even on rough land, would never go 10 and no contact,id do some more education before contemplating starting another.
  17. Have you seen that tv advert, should have gone to???.
  18. Because the price of metal, because of the chinky and indian market, went through the roof, every scrote in the country, apart from the honest lads about, yeh right, filched every piece of metal not nailed down, church and school roofs are now bereft of mucky bendy lead, kids can no more leave their bikes or skateboards in the garden, manhole covers need welding in place, shopping trolleys are worth more than a quid and copper is the new gold, railways need guards to protect their cable and electricity substations fry a smack ed a week,Apart from all that the yards are turned over on a regular basis and
  19. Its a while since i last went,i dont do many shows now,Hunt shows and the odd FMWTC,the majority of shows now are getting to KC for my liking,if a show is to be judged by lads that actually graft there dogs, how novel is that idea now, then its worth attending and adding to the coffers. i stopped going for the same reason but this one is on the door step so i might go i will see if are young uns fancy are you going to this A bit of pest control with the terriers in the morning,as long as they don,t hold us up ill have a look see. if i am going i will give you a ring Just turn
  20. £40,im not tight just careful?,6ft of bale band, the improvision of a suitable loop and a dog eager to go,gratis.
  21. It,s impossible to keep a dog fit and ticking unless it hunts all summer?,there is no other way that can possibly keep a mutt in condition, priceless.
  22. You would also have to be fairly well deprived of a touch of nous to not realise that rabbit numbers may need to be brought under control before the crops have been planted,to wait until the crops are being eaten and then mounting an attack on the culprits smacks of naiveness and lack of any real understanding of the ways of the countryside.Obviously new permission gained later in the year,to control said problem, won,t fall into this category, yet in all honesty how many use this as an excuse to vindicate their actions.
  23. I know plenty of lads who look forward to Sundays, work and family commitments often leaves just one day to give the dogs some graft, the odd hour lamping in the week can be fitted in at times. The one full day they get can be utilised to the full.Others may venture forth more often and have dogs far less tested.
  24. If i felt the need to hunt in summer for no good reason, that would be pest control, only the genuine sort,or educating a sapling, then id know it was time to give up with the mutts.I can put enough into the recognised season to keep me and the mutts occupied,i then find plenty for me and the mutts to occupy the rest of the year.Id personally be ashamed to admit i feel the need to kill anything now that will offer a more fitting, rewarding, testing and worthwhile opponent, later in the year.
