Gain Puppy And Sapling Feed
Carraghs Gem replied to Country Joe's topic in Working Dog Health & Training Talk
I reared my sal grey on gain puppy and sapling supplemented with raw and have never been so happy with any complete feed... Then he progressed onto gain 20 although ive had to change him back to puppy and sapling as some stupid pet owner bought the 2 bags reserved for me in the petshop on the owners day off grrrr -
I would never go into any enclosure with a big cat, ive been up close with lions and to tell the truth some are docile creatures with humans and others only tolerate their keepers... Ive been up close and personal with a lioness in the gambia that was more like a domestic moggy in temperament and ive been a bit too close to a lioness that took an instant dislike to me and wanted to kill me on sight in blackpool zoo when i was on work experience feeding the big cats

All i can say on this subject is that im delighted i no longer live in england... Ive been feeling a civil war coming for a long time its inevitable.

I had dogs stolen 2 and a half years ago, ive been stopped twice on the back roads walking my hound by travellers in the last month. ive been watched by the garda siocana up until recently... Im not stupid enough to make things easy for dog theives or an garda to keep tabs on me, everyone knew my old van, only a few folk are familiar with my new van and id like it to stay that way

Because she's a woman? So am i get her looking at a couple nice goats
-
Unless she has a notion of breaking it to cart the n why? Donkeys do feck all other than eat and shit... There are so many more usefull beasts out there like goats, cattle, sheep, pigs that provide you with produce or horses that you can ride Ive turned down many free donkeys over the years, you would have to pay me to have one

After much consideration ive decided im going to lead the charge with this one and purchase one of these lurcher bumper stickers for my vehicle, im also going to purchase these bumper stickers while im at it
-

Smashing Through Cover And Fences
Carraghs Gem replied to killing crew's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
My lad is covered in scars already, everytime be goes out he comes home with a new one... This is his latest from about 10 days ago, its just healed up -
I got most of mine from Melton Mowbray cattle auction in the past, I had some good ones from there but like you said it can be hit and miss. It's tricky as people will hang on to proven workers, so obviously there will be a gamble but if anyone knows any genuine sales or youngsters from good lines that have been fed on a decent meat diet that would be infinitely better than going in blind Thanks I bought 5 last year, the albino hob, 3 poley hob kits and a poley jill... The jill was the only one that didnt work... So i gave her away, Sold the kits and the lad who has them is delighted wit

Well i pick mine up from poultry sales, gamefairs and out of my local free ads paper... Its pot luck though that way ive had some brilliant workers and some useless pets... Good luck in your search

A Broken Tail, What You Think?
Carraghs Gem replied to **Lurcherman**'s topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
If its a kink in the tail its a genetic defect and you shouldnt breed from that animal if thats the case, the spine may also be fused as well, it may affect the mutts ability to jump... Consult your vet... -
Mines just out of it... Still trys to get away with shit though

Carraghs Gem replied to inan's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
At the end of the day a show is a day out where ye get to bring your mutt and buy a few bits and pieces of dog gear... Have a few beers and admire other folks mutts.. There are always folk who get carried away with it all and take it far too seriously... f**k the lot of them -

Boot Fairs, The Gift That Just Keeps On Giving!!
Carraghs Gem replied to brucemyster's topic in General Talk
Another thing i found.. Caravan toilet, never used... 4euro... Its up in my attic right now but when i go camping in my big van it will come in handy... Im same as that stig i often hit the boot sales with a few hundred in my pocket... Other times i will buy more than i sell... Last boot sale i was selling at in carrick on shannon i bought a victorian glass ear dropper for 1euro sold it to a museum for 17euro just by texting them a pic of it -
Boot Fairs, The Gift That Just Keeps On Giving!!
Carraghs Gem replied to brucemyster's topic in General Talk
Not a bargain as such as i paid 100euro for it but bloody handy i bought a plastic pallet with raised sides and a lid... It also has 2 hatches for access... Big enough to use as a dog crate/dog kennel to transport pretty much anything in, its also collapsable... Im going to keep it in the big van to put my shopping in instead of it rolling around the van... Seriously handy piece of kit i can think of a plethora of uses for it
