  6. Thats why i dont buy things i know nothing about and part of the reason i posted the pic of it up here... If it had been genuine and worth the money i could go back to the seller and buy it as i got his phone number in case my instincts were wrong about it, ive been caught out before with reproduction stuff made in india to look older than it is
  7. Mainly scrub type goats although 1 man brought pedigrees and i bought a quality first x kid from him... Couldve been the weather but i only counted 16goats this year for sale including the 2 i sold, quieter than previous years but that was due to several factors mainly the weather, some confusion over the date this year and because it clashed with a horse and pony auction at the mart in castlerea, there was a lot of poultry sellers and antiques type sellers, a few horses, ponys donkeys sheep and calves... When i eventually landed at the auction in castlerea i saw a lot of dodges who you would

  12. Thought id share some pics of the goat fair today in foxford
  13. The terrier would be dead within a relatively short period of time, apart from her age shes been spoilt and protected her whole life... The collie is a survivor and has survived harsh winters found her asleep on the lawn the morning after a snowstorm... Didnt see her until she lifted her head from under the snow... Shes a scavenger not much of a hunter but her dam killed and ate everything from frogs to hedgehogs, kittens and rabbits so id say if shes anything like her dam she'll adapt in a survival situation... As for the lurcher he would be on with a 50/50 chance of survival as long as he av
  14. Whenever possible i buy irish (or british as its the next best thing) I do buy foreign foods especially tinned goods as there simply isnt that much variety available and tinned goods are my emergency back up if the shit hits the fan
  15. As the saying goes a donkey never won the grand national... I agree with everything ideation has said A question though... The highly bred dogs you mentioned.. Are they coursing hounds or specialist fox dogs or another type?

  18. I hide everytime a camera is pointed in my direction, i peel the labels off beer bottles and i nearly always wear odd socks, i also use the same set of knives and forks and always eat my dinner off the same plate and drink tea/coffee out of my favourite mug
  19. dont know about other coursing bred hounds but i considered my lad a pup until he was about 18mths... he was still very puppyish until then, now i will spend the next few months focusing on improving his obedience as whilst hes ok hes not up to the standard i like
