  8. Before you do the whole rescue thing have a look through the classifieds section on here... Last time i checked there was a couple of adult dogs free to good home... im not saying look at them because their free more because there may be a mutt that would fit in with you and your circumstances better and rescues are often liberal with the truth where mutts are concerned
  9. Well the BEW in the pic isnt mink so where is the pic of the mink parent? it is also illegal to keep mink as pets (in ireland anyway i assume its the same in uk?) I would expect the kits to have considerably softer coats also if theres a bew in the pic where is this eu polecat?
  10. Dont mention hunting, i would also remove hunting related books, artwork, camo clothing etc prior to their homecheck Most but not all rescues are very anti hunting, partly because their staff are mostly bunny hugger/do gooder types and partly because of the atrocious way certain dregs of our society treat their animals and unfortunately some of those dregs are attracted to hunting so we are all tarred with the same brush
  11. That looks very much like a Mauser bayonet that I have Mine is brand new from 1916!!!...........it allegedly came from a weapons shipment to the men of Bangor when they thought the south may invade the north but was obviously never used My wifes granda gave me it when I was over their one time, the old fella is gone now but we would sit and talk as men do for hours and it reminds me of him so I would never part with it This one was never sharpened until the day i bought it, its still not razor sharp but it will be by the time ive finished with it i assume it has never been blooded, ive alw
  12. Mark all the kits so you can tell them apart/or snip off a piece of hair Then weigh them every couple of days on the kitchen scales... If a kit isnt thriving it will make you aware of it early on. You should see a steady weight gain, make sure they are kept warm, hot water bottle wrapped in a towel is good enough but make sure they dont get too warm either
  13. don't abuse your body .........natural as they come ,.........but a trim is enevitable...... My body is already abused, scarred and tattoed as they come... Ive always wanted sleeves + i need to cover up some pretty poor tattoos done when i was younger

It was entirely unintentional didnt know who was at the door, although i may have had a can of cider in my hand loland wearing a silver pentagram necklace which i rarely take off
  17. The jehovas witnesses have stopped visiting us after the last time when i answered the door in a old green plastic slaughterhouse type apron... It barely had any blood on it but ive never seen anyone leave in such a hurry the goat skulls stacked up on top of the dog trailer probably didnt help matters

The grandad i grew up with was a medic during ww2 and also bomb squad he was also extremely laid back and a very gentle individual who loved growing a veg garden my nana and me never got along...
