    Not sure if there is a ferret show. there is another thread for the 2011 show with all details on about page 4 of this section.(this thread is a 2009 thread!). The show/event is sign posted from M5 junction 27.

    Mate Im in N Devon but not getting a dog prob until next year due to working between here and N Wales at the min and still learning the ropes. Have spoken to a few people from down your way at shows etc prob the best thing to do is go to one of the local shows. Tiverton show August bank hol mon from 10am or even closer to you Powderham Castle show think 24-25 September. I went to both last year and people were happy to give advise. Sure someone will let you tag along for a mooch.

    Chees guys. PherretinPhanatic- I havent got a clue what your on about and havnt got a clue what a RCBA is? Just introducing myself to the forum so no need to start slating me on my first post.

    Just joined THL forum and thought i would say the usual hello to all. Started ferreting as a lad and then got into lurchers but work has got in the way as usual for far too long(15 Years!). Looking to get back into it next season and no doubt I will be a bit rusty. I hope I will get some sound advice from the people on the forum. I now spend most of my time in N Devon (hopefully some permission on the way) and work alot of the time in N Wales where most of my permission is. Thanks for any future advise!

    I went last year and it was in September at a farm just the other side of Halberton if its the one your on about? Good show. I am pretty new to the game and got loads of advice about working lurchers from the lads/lasses who were there. found out about it through word of mouth and will def go this year if it's on.The show in July was the Mid Devon Show but had no lurcher/terrier event. Will post if i hear anything. If your fairly local there is also another event at Powdreham Castle Exeter sometime in September. There was lurcher shows and racing last year.
