  1. He would be out all day every day if he could. Work get in the way so you can only do your best. A couple of local lads take him out hunting if I’m away with work.
  2. He suits me str. Doesn’t range too far. Great little busher and works well with the ferrets. To be honest I need to give him more work than he gets.
  3. Just out of interest, does any one know of any small Bobery packs in the North Wales area? I wouldn’t mind a day out. I have a decent amount of land to go at.
  4. Nice one Joe. You look a lot younger without the beard ?
  5. Looks like a nice walk out. Pup looks to be shaping up nicely
  6. Good to get out as always mate. Some good runs and it was great to see how much Fergie has come on. Good to see Martha still has the edge. Hard work for her on them big fields but the old girl always surprises us!
  7. Already done that one Ken!!! She came for a trip up to North Wales......she enjoyed it ?
  8. Vets done a decent job by the sounds of it. She said he will recover ok and might be good for the odd run. Time will tell. As long as he can tag along for a walk then I’m happy. ?
  9. Cheers Allan. It was up at Meldon. Exactly where we walked out. All the easy to get to spots on Dartmoor are getting the same. Park up, dump their crap and no respect for others.
  10. Messaged him cheers. She’s a great looking bitch and one of my mates is interested. She’s not for me though.
  11. So had a run of bad luck lately. End of last season Blue had a really nasty injury. We were out hunting and he came back with a bad cut at the top of his left leg. Lots of visits to the vets and 3 months rest and he came good. Really thought this was going to be our season and I have been putting in a fair bit of time with him. He’s picked up the usual knocks along the way but has always got over it. He’s a tough dog and I really like the way he works. Anyway......yesterday I took him for a little walk just to get a bit of fresh air. Walking up the side of the river and just about getti
  12. I have no problem with my dog picking his runs in the day. Lamping would be a different matter. Majority of our rabbits are caught just inside the hedge line at night.
  13. Cheers Blacky. With just a 1/4 in him I havnt really seen any of the saluki traits people have mentioned. Maybe I got lucky. If my next one is as easy as him to train I will be happy.
  14. Same here chid. Just his sulking. Otherwise he’s a good honest worker.
  15. My dog has 1/4 saluki in him and I would say that’s enough for me. About an 1/8 collie and the rest grew. He has been easy to train and is clever. His recall is really good and he’s back as soon as the lamps off. Hunts well and uses his nose. I havnt seemed to bond with him as well as other dogs......maybe because he spends most his time sulking!! Or maybe it’s just me!
  16. My dogs hate the kennels. She can have mine the next time I’m away ?
  17. Spot on that. I try and get my lads out as much as possible. My youngest would lamp every night if he could! we don’t get them sort of numbers so have to chose spots carefully so they keep interested. Hope he sticks with it and you have plenty more trips together.
  18. What model you got mate? I don’t mind chopping the things up. As long as it will mince the back leg bones
  19. Will it mince whole rabbit?
