    Had a quick read at that link, I've never read that particular book and although I've read most of Plummers books over the years it's been a while since I sat down with one. I'll say this though the man was a class unto himself as an author, yes I know about the porkies etc but that aside as well as being hunting/ dog welfare etc related they were extremely entertaining. He digresses and wanders into historical, geographical and much general knowledge in his books as well as the main theme for the book.
