Totally agree, and if she should read this thread she's going to think your a right sad case and she was right to dump you. or she could think i best take him back incase he harms himself. But then she gets the whippet as well, package deal and all that. Is it really worth the risk.

There was a bitter custody fight over the whippet, she won and he had to take it.

Firstly, I'd be with no one rather than the wrong one and I certainly wouldn't be chasing someone who says they don't want me. That said, we're all different and if you genuinely do want her back then I'd go the opposite way, let her no your out and about enjoying life, doing things meeting other people and generally carrying on as normal, you might get a surprise.

what age can a pup leave its mum
bigdaz replied to fieldsportsman's topic in Working Dog Health & Training Talk
One thing also as Skycat touched on, every bit as important as the age the pup is leaving, is where it's going. I wouldn't give a six week or for that matter an eight week old pup out to be put in a kennel itself. If I'm having a pup I like it at this age but to have it about me and make sure it doesn't miss out on socialising, it's better being one of one with me as opposed to say one of ten. My previous post should read, six weeks if they're going to the right homes, which they should be in any case. -
Only lock the doors when I go to the pub, stops the wife following me.

If they are eating solids happily and drinking then realistically they can come off the mother, over the years for various reasons I've had pups away from bitches as young as four weeks. A couple of weeks good feeding and they'd be fine going to their new homes at six weeks. I certainly wouldn't have pups hanging off a bitch at eight weeks as some have suggested, and twelve weeks?, get a grip. -
And here was me thinking all along when we were talking about dogs doing reds it was deer we were talking about.

More likely to stop the dog retrieving I would think.

Just thinking today that this had died down a bit, bet the government and the BBC are grateful for the flooding to divert attention. What is noticable is that everyone they out and disclose the names of is conveniently dead or a small fish in a big pool.

My mind was pretty much made up to vote Ukip, now I'm 100% sure. Hope the labour luvvies keep these tactics up, they're the best recruiting officers the Ukip could hope for.

Im sorry but good lurcher lines dont need gun dog breeds jmo Some of the dogs that pass as lurchers today would benefit from an infusion of decent gundog blood. Im not quite sure what your saying here feller but i personally wouldn't want any gun dog blood in my dogs. They dont have anything that cant be gained from other breeds. And what do you mean by "dogs that pass as lurchers today" ? Gundogs don't have anything that can't be gained from other breeds?. Nose, coat, natural retrievers, hunting ability, water work can all come in one infusion from a gundog, can't think

They (labour) haven't the brains to realise it's these sneaky underhand moves that have in part turned people away from them. Shot themselves in the foot from where I'm sitting.
-
Better nose and brain than say a whippet, deerhound, and god knows how many other breeds incorporated into lurchers over the years, all gundog breeds in my opinion have something to offer, also vislas/pointers/weimaraners already have a racy shape.

BNP are a bunch of mugs.. and the face of the bnp mr griffin is a grass and a bitch, https://www.facebook...?ref=ts&fref=ts Take a step back, read what I've written and look at the big picture.

Vote, that's the answer at this moment in time, if you cry about it but do nothing you deserve all you get. Next election drag yourself to the polling station and put your mark against UKIP or BNP, don't matter if you don't agree with their policies or don't like them, use it as a shot across the bows of the main parties, time to loosen the stranglehold they have over the man in the street. These bstards are so full of themselves they make promises to get the public vote and then blatantly disregard them when they get in. Get everyone you know to vote for anyone other than the three main p

If all that I have heard comes out, it could be the start of a revolution. BUT, the powers that be are throwing up smoke screens to bury the harmful stuff, like making offerings of The Hairy Cornflake, some old hasbeen comedian, an already convicted paedo, instead of........ The whole thing about people who have 'twittered' or retweeted gossip now being asked to hand theirselves in as it will be the cheaper option......... The internet is prooving to be a bit to powerful and they will try to put in place new measures to control. They will be desperate to bring in measures to limi

He was arrested when the anti hunting group told the police of the alleged racist slur, Jesus Christ, walk up to plod and tell them a sab assaulted you (more serious in my book) they won't give you the time of day and I would seriously doubt that an arrest would be made. I think it's time for all hunts to sit down and devise a battle plan and insist on being afforded the same rights, then push for charges to be made.

Yes, I,ve had one, involved pedigree dogs so it was obvious and easy to spot, also seen it happening. I had a golden retriever bitch who was a wee tart and stood for any dog just about every day of her season. She was due to be bred and was willing to be bred so I put her to my goldie dog who is absolutely bombproof and will not look at a bitch not ready, he refused her, wasn't surprised I knew the bitch. Any way later on that day due to me not paying attention she slipped to the kennel where my weimaraner dog was, and, as he is not so reliable and works on the premise, any holes a goal, he

This is the same Nick Griffin that believes time served Gurkhas should not be allowed residence in the UK at all as they are only paid mercinaries? f**k Nick Griffin, I'm quite convinced he couldn't run a piss up in a brewery never mind the country. I agree with everything else you say, but I have absolutely no faith in the BNP or their leader. Gordon Brown who led possibly the worst goverment this country has had the misfortune to see, whilst throwing the door open to the worlds scum and greeting them with open arms only bowed to massive public outcry and a campaign led by joanna Lu
