  8. I would keep a few full bodied ones,as I like to put one up on a branch or post, and alrhough I have never tried fud crow deeks I think the full bodied ones might do better for that,

  12. People don't want to pay trappers at the moment,I have never seen as much damage done by moles the water table is high and the moles have come up with it,
  13. I use 10oz nylon and double it up on the needle makes a good strong net, but most stuff needs ordering mate I need to try spun poly at some point I still make my rabbit nets from hemp,

Give it a really good clean, take the stock off and blow any muck out with a good spray oil, take your time and do it right, how we'll did the fireing pin hit the other primers on the spent shell's, get a cartridge and put a straight edge over the brass to see if the primers are recessed too deep, if a pin is broken it will show on the primers some will be hit harder than others or not at all as the case maybe it could be a bad batch of shells, or just in need of a service, it might not be expensive mate.

I have not long since had a conversation with a local farmer, and he recons the rabbits are suffering like the sheep with liver fluke,they are saying its particularly bad this year because of the high water table,bringing the fluke worms up,I dont know if this is right so would hope someone on here will cast some light on it,
  17. Them crow's are rook's, That rooks a crow,large flock like that probably means rooks which are noisey any way watch for there flight line,toby63 is right bit of fog wont hurt if you are going to wait for them,or a larger pattern as in a few more deec's is worth a try,

I like to mix both a few woodies and a few crow decoys to one side and a full bodied one on the fence post, it works fine, as for rabbit pick some road kill up anything old pheasant owt messy and as said earlier,keep well concealed in spring they are a bit easier, but just now they have very keen eye's

I have heard of this and been told it works, by what I see as reputable men, but some how I chicken out of useing them, I find start feeding pond in august with barley or wheat, twice a week although I find maize really good for ducks and you can see it better on the pond bottom,give you a idea of how much is going,
