What the funking is that all about! Will never understand the depravity of some people, bred to be rapists ffs!!

Terrible, what a thing to live.with for one stupid moment!

Made my stomach go over! You spend your life protecting your kids, how any parent would think that's OK god only knows... its bad enough with my lad liking more extreme activities, climbing, surfing, coasteering etc... you can only hopd you've instilled a bit of sense in them eh!

Mental! Car washed in at Sidmouth and woman drowned when her car was washed into the Tavy last week. Mad putting your kid in such danger

In a nutshell

You can still fish the full length of Exmouth beach Phil, its really popular for bassing with a live eel or lure, unfortunately there's aren't so many big flounder around in the Estuary, but we're now seeing more and more Giltheads from there... I was born and bred in Countess weir, about a mile up river from Topsham, spent my whole life along the river mate, its always been a pretty interesting place to fish, both for coarse fish and sea fish... glad you've enjoyed some good times on it as well...

Sent you a pm mate

Mr bothers bother in law fell 30 foot through a roof light mate, he had just left us to work for another company... me and my wife were at the hospital when we got the news, all of us thought he was dead..no one survives that! He wasn't and he's now fine, suffered a lot of bruising internal and external and a few small minor breaks, he is so lucky to be alive! I've fallen twice and been lucky to get away with nothing, when we started we didn't even use scaffolds or safety nets, looking back it's funking stupid! I never put anyone working for me at risk, always full scaffold and netting,

I've not had the kayak out this year Arry, got a small boat in Exmouth Docks with my brother, so we've made use of that, getting lazy! Lol I agree though, even off the shore when the mackerel are driving the whitebait up the beaches would be great fun on a fly rod, not like you need to cast far is it!

Get in Oliver! Thay lad is a natural mate, you know he's outfitting us already! Great times

Had a lot of mullet up the river (Exe) mainly on maggot, but ad you know Arry a meps spinner infront of a single hook carrying harbour rag is deadly for thin lips up the river, spun slowly back to you... I guess imitating this set up with a fly could work? Or using a maggot immatation and fishing around the weed edges? I've only done a little fly fishing, but this year we've had loads of bass off the boat, all on lures and some very close and surface feeding... I'm very tempted to get a fly set up and practice for a bit of sport next summer, I'd guess a Sandeel or white bait type im

A hard hat ain't helping if you fall mate, I think the main reason is the blanket h&s rules on site, a case of no preferential treatment as if the roofers aren't wearing them the rest will take them off.

He's some fighter.

Exactly as I remember you sat on the beach!

Spend half my time on holiday wildlife watching, those monitor lizards were beasts...also went for an early morning walk around a lake, loads of catfish in there, I'm walking through long grass trying to get a better look and spot a decent size snake going through the water... I made my way back to where I could see my feet and legs! Lol

Yes mate, about 3 hours, was only in Bangkok briefly, looked back at it as we were driving out and the smog cloud was huge! I wasn't disappointed to leave if I'm honest...

Went there early 90s with an ex girlfriend, what a beautiful place... from the baby elephant spraying kids with water in the sea at our hotel, to riding elephants down the river Kwai, then going to the pow museum at the river Kwai bridge, one of the most moving places Iver ever visited, also the war grave yard, walking around reading headstones from Brits, Australians, Thais, Americans etc... hard nor to feel very moved.... Travelling on the local trains, with people carrying crates of chickens, or brining on goats on chains! Lol Playing guitar and singing in a local rock pub with the hou

We done the roof and wall cladding on the Tescos there, must be 15 years ago now, maybe more... they weren't happy, right next to the bowls lawn, getting grief off geriatrics for ruining their village! Lol

"Stinky Drinky" once the call was made that was it, all out in work gear to the shittest boozer we could find... worked all over the country for many years, and usually had 10 to 20 blokes on the site for us, all crammed into a shit short term rental... lol Working in Penistone, Yorkshire took a full butchered roe deer into the local pub after befriending the land lady, she had venison roasts on the table for us and few locals straight after work, all the old boys in there moaning at us for ruining their village with "a bloody great Tescos"... we agreed whole heartedly, but it paid the bi
