The circle jab was called a daisy prick, I think ,then if it reacted you had your BCG ( for TB) ,I remember everyone shitting thereselves about the BCG jab, it was passed down through all the schools how much it hurt.... couldn't move your arm for weeks etc Like Ruby said if you had it ( luckily I didn't) you'd be punched in the top of your arm for weeks after.. whole swathes of children walking around schools protecting the top of their arm with their other hand There was some nice scarring too....

I'm not one for much telly, I rarely bother.... But I watched this last night, Saturday night the kids, the missus, me.. They were good.. The little lad was a star in my eyes he's made the best out of the hand life dealt him, fair play to him.... Family Saturday night entertainment.. No different to morcambe and wise...

I was fishing the town stretch of our river few years back when a lad comes puffing along asking if I'd seen a group of men about, he said they were foreign probably polish... I hadn't but asked why, it turns out him and a few others had set up a protection group for the swans, there is a huge head of swans on the town stretch, they all get fed by the mums and kids etc and gather in big numbers ... It turns out there was nearly half the amount now ( something like 60 from 110 ) compared to 2 years ago.. They were now being monitored and it was all down to poles catching them for food.... These

Very similar mate, I've a great relationship with my Dad now.. But there's a lot of heartache and stories to get here, The same as you with my kids, I kill them with love and I'm not concerned if I kiss, cuddle or tell them I love them too often... They'll never see some of the things I did.. Violence is very dead end though, just takes a while and a wake up call ( or 2) to realise it...

Alan Ball was manager of Exeter for a bit, his lad, Jimmy, played for their u17's... We used to play them in our league, this one game Alan was watching it was 1-1 and my mate scored a screamer not long to go, we went mad run up to Jimmy and gave him a bit ( he was a right little twat on the pitch) my mate ran over to Alan Ball and gave him a bit ( dis respectful I know, but being 16 is the only excuse lol)... Over the years ive often tried to understand the whole downs syndrome thing.............i dont......and im not sure i want to simply because i really enjoy the relationship i have with this lad he just has an energy and honesty about him that i find infectious............every now and then he comes to the footie with us he loves it.......i try to steer clear of confrontation with folk at footie wherever possible.............but the amount of times i have to give other fans a " dont say a word " kind of look .......is something thats still a real shame in society...............you feel so prot

I like cooking, always have, but I hate dishes and general clearing away... That's where the wife and my eldest girl step in. Cooked Tandori lamb with the left overs of Sundays leg and Thai prawn curry on Tuesday.. another is prawn and chorizo linguine My wife's parents can't believe what she eats now, she'll try most things when I first met her it was crispy pancakes and smiley faces, I thought she was taking the piss.. He was friendly to everybody he met, when he passed away there was probably two hundred people or more in and around the chapel at the funeral. He was known all around the county from a lifetime working on the refineries and other industrial sites and from connection with the local rugby club. Good stories lads and lasses.... Surprising how much Grandparents play such a role in People's lives... I'm glad my kids have a lot of time with their grandparents, I've got to hand it to my parents they are great grandparents, they don't spoil them with money but spend loads of time with them... Dave My dads best friend/labourer and a constant in our house, during my funny childhood he was my weekend escape... From about 6 years old as soon as I arrived back for the weekend I'd be with Dave, he took me nesting, fishing, ferreting, lamping any out door pursuit... They only thing I couldn't go on was his and Ivor's nighttime salmon poaching sessions ( too dangerous for a kid lol) but I'd regularly go poaching rabbits and hares at night. I would say Rooney developed a lot earlier than Ronaldo, Ronaldo was not the player he is now in his first couple of seasons at UTD.. Rooney came in with a bang ( a hat trick in the champions league debut), Rooney was a very strong and complete player at 20 years old, Ronaldo was still a bit light weight... Ronaldo is now a completely different animal, he is the compete player IMO... If Ronaldo came back a fluid front 3 of him, Rvp and Rooney would be a handful for any team.. I agree Rooney has not looked on top form of late, but to say he's the most over rated player ever is a bit much He's scored 141 goals for UTD and 35 for England that's not bad stats for a 27 year old.... Infact very few finish their career with better stats.... I wouldn't be surprised if he went but if Ronaldo comes ( the rumours keep going), that could be the kick up the ass he needs, together they were brilliant for a few seasons IMO.. Last nights game means little ( hopefully) in the title but annoyingly gives city a bit of bragging rights... Great goal from Aguero

What a shame if we have to enforce new rules ( 1 point for 3 goals, none for a draw etc) just to get footballers to play.. The way the game is played shouldn't be affected by money or anything else... I understand you'd be pissed off spending a load to go and watch a boring 0-0, but that's football it happens.... Then you look at Keegans Newcastle from years back, every game seemed to be a thriller but it cost them in the end.... I'm not condoning a boring way of football, I love end to end games as much as anyone... Just sometimes it doesn't go like that
