Id say it would be some beast allright ,probably impossible to traiin though,I think i remember reading somewhere that the greyhound shares a surprisingly large amount of genes with the european wolf.

id tend to agree- pups could end up lab/bedlington ,pointer /whippet or any other possible weird combination of ancestors.A full pointer would be a better choice if you do intend to go down that road..I think labrodor blood would bring too much bulk to a 22 inch bitch.

Had a springer once that would turn back into a 6 month old pup again at the sight of the gun,she ended up living to 21

id say theyd want to be about 120 years old,i think the popularity of the kerry blue led to its demise as a worker if it ever was one.My grandfather (dead a good while) told me his best earth dog when he was young was a kerry blue x beagle.They were a guard dog of legendary viciousness allright.

you mention that you are away a bit,maybe the dog is jealous of attention you get from your missus or to put it another way when youre at home maybe the pack structure is upset or something.Does it give your wife problems when you are not there. -

yes it the collar your digging to not the dog the lack of experience up to now isnt a big deal,if its in them its in them,in fact its a lot better than overmatching a dog at too young an age.

yeah,bred a 2 year old plummer to her half brother-pups starting to work now.the one bitch out the litter is supposed tobe very good.Dug to a dog out of it today that a friend has,did well.Id about 12 or 14 good digs to the bitch and the dog had seen nothing(he was a bit too big as well but a bold c**t).Theyre about 11 months now. so id say go with your gut,if it seems like a good idea to yourself then go for it.

good post,youd see in greyhounds the whole time,often the 2nd best dog out of the litter makes the best stud dog.i dont know why that is,maybe a cheaper price attracts more bitches or maybe 1 copy of a particular gene makes a derby winneer and 2 copies of it make an inferior racedog but a better stud dog.

i probably would as well,it would be as close as possible to what you originally wanted to do,but just because 2 dogs are off the same breeding dosent mean they are of the same bloodline-i.e they could throw very different pups.

it does not say anything about it been a working wheaten ? and know one in there right mind whould breed to that and there is more kc none working wheaten than working keep it real PS 100 IS CHEAP AT STUD VERY CHEAP LMAO dont worry yourself about it,he dosnt look like a woreker to me,THe show wheatens are a far cry from their trialling ancestors with a good while.

these peoples values are so removed from reality that terriermen are worse to them than paedophiles,drugdealers etc......People are evolved for millions of years to be hunters and have had a symbiotic hunting partnership with the dog for at least 30,000 years.Thats the facts -if they dont like them they should do the rest of the human race a favour and go jump in a lake.

produced nothing,its very rarely youd see him anywhere in the breeding of a greyhound these days.His sisters bred on fairly well allright over in the states.I think kiowa sweet trey goes back to one of them.

why ?? there isnt a seperate law of inheritance for working terriers.Its the same for,pigeons,rats,snakes ,people etc..It also means that a dog could be a grandson of a great worker yet not be carrying any of his genes.Weve all seen people who look a ringer for 1 of their grandparents,and nothing like their own parents or other grandparents.I suppose the lesson here is only breed worker to workers and not grandchildren,nephews etc. to good workers

This is a fake video they put out earlier this year-If you watch closely you can see the hare is attached to a wire being pulled for effect by the cameraman or a friend.Also you cant hear the commentator anymore.
