do you lamp large numbers of rabbits yourself? if you run two dogs and you take 60 your dogs will still only get eneougth time to get there tonges in while the other dog runs before they run again beleive you me thell need to be fit. If I took your dog on a feild and run it 1 run after another on 60 rabbits youd either have to stay out a very long time to give the dog eneogh rest or it will fall over, my dogs are breed to "stay" but no dog can run rabbit after rabbit with out a break the man behind the lamp should know better. mine happened the other night, i sorted it by pressin the two red bits either side at bottom of lamp and pull the bottom out carefully then i located the switch with a kitchen knife and guided it back in place then put loads of thick card behind it from a card board box, if you've got the rubber bit and the external round kind of a circle nut then you wont need to use card board as the switch screws into this circle nut then the rubber piece goes over the top, its happened to two of mine and ive used both methods to repair them, hope this helps

being honest ive asked him myself the same questions as i said im little nervous to how the end result would fair but he said he loves his lab/pointer but would something a little faster for the odd rabbit here and there but could still do its primary role aS a gun dog, there would be little waste as he wants 2 pups out of her and two other mates want one and he offered me one as a stud fee but i said he could line her for free but being honest not my cup of tea rest will be given away.

hi all i have a mate who is a game keeper and owns a pointer x lab works well with flushing and retrieves the shot stuff well i myself own a bed/whip x bed/grey 22tts very rough coated takes all quarry apart from the pigs day and night fur or feather and great in cover and hes asked me to put him over her and says he has friends who have already called for pups if the mating goes ahead but im little scepticle on what they would be like, what do you think

my water bowls are inside the kennel so dont freeze,,,, i think im right in thinking hot water or warm water freezes quiker than cold water,,, im shure i remember that from science at school mate ur right in hot water the molecules are excited so to speak and this speeds up freezin process quicker same theiry with a kettle addin cold water instead of warm will come to the boil quicker.

i recon putting the beddy to them toughens them up and makes them less fragile plus heres a pic of my bed/whip/grey mostly bed/whip with touch of grey he can take more then rabbit regularly must admit i would say hes just as good on the long ears on the lamp as the bunnies and can do odd charlie dont think it would be regular but never really tested on them that way as round by me dont see many, dont usualy take pics when out but got one or two when with my friend he was 12 months old here plus had a few day time all in big fields aswell not gonna lie hes far from a world beater but he does me

yeah cant wait myself just enjoying the time training her at the mo with the basics and lots of heal work on and off lead but shes doing ok and at the moment seems very trainable
