I also prefer to net than make a net as I have a poor memory and forget how to make a net lol. never done fish as I'm Huddersfield and not much fish to net here but I would have liked to. most go out netting if not all that use this section but probably ferret or run a dog as well. some might just prefer to read as I do but I will post a thread if it gets stale in here as this is the only forum I use with a long net section. trawl back there are some tales to read.

some of the members like to make nets and show what they done.some are just learning to knit and like the advice and for others it's about being able to make a net and then catch with it, there are also others that like to give advice and share a bit of knowledge but most importantly it's all things netting in here. more stories would be nice but don't think they will ever be many.

popped out at 8.30 last neet to meet Mr wilks. I got to the place first and got my gear ready waiting on Mr wilks but it was not a long wait. first drop was at the far end of this farmers land and sheltered from the wind by a small wood and this would keep our scent from flowing down the field on to the rabbits. it was only 50 yds wide so we got it 1 net and and made our way out of the field in to the wood and a couple or fields across so we could get in to the other side of the field and walk it in. field had short grass but both Mr wilks and I had thought it a nice length to hold the
