  4. does anybody use the putange or no mole with the prongs down? does it hinder the trap working this way up? i have also read about them placed sideways, would the mole be reluctant to cross the prong or do they seem to just push on going forward? smithie
  5. i got some to go at yet but im not bothered for having the boot full of fur. im happy to get out with a a friend and take what ever numbers i get.. saying that if i was offered land rammed with bunnys im sure i would take it lol

Mr Wilks and i met about 10pm and got straight on with the first drop, wind was right but the flat field on the bottom was watter logged so did not expect much, we run a 100yd of net up a bank on the side across the top and up to the road. the plan was to funnel all the rabbits in to the net. but the net was empty. we was not too suprised. we moved along and had the wind on our back going to the next drop. we was to put a net in a horse shoe shape against a dry stone wall.. the wall was probably 300yds long and 4 to 7 ft tall in places but i had seen rabbits going over a part were it had

  16. abjustable mounts and other a rimmy would be my choice if I had one

I had some of these suposidly cheap traps delivered today from Norfolktrapper and guess what just the same as the putanges I already have. anyway they have been sent to my place of work and I had the vernier on. same diameter steel and prongs at the same angle as the ones from nicepix. steel looks same and doesn't appear to have a twist pattern on like the one in the nice pix picture. tension feels same or similar. even if these had been the cheap ones they would be better than no mole for tension and half dozen in your kit would not hurt. but I don't believe then to be junk I'
