  1. I aint bad, ........ for a c**t ?
  2. I seriously do like alot of them, and the rough ones would be practically no differet to many saluki/deer/greys, more or less the same breeding for generations. Like I said, I've not seen one in the flesh, but how would you rate their speed on good ground, not the rough dry ground most of the clips that I've seen them run on?
  3. Really like some of these galgos actually. Never seen one in the flesh, but seen dozens of coursing clips of dogs that looked very good
  4. Ok if they cooked up in a pan of beans ?
  5. Could've sworn you said she was 3/4 whippet 1/4 beddy in a different thread, or was that a different pup? Nice pup anyway
  6. Looks to be coming along nicely. But why put just 'young beddy learning her job'? You're not ashamed that she's three quarters WHIPPET are you?! Lol nice pup fella ?
  7. One does try mate, one does try. When one has obviously had a decent night's kip like ? ?
  8. Plenty of faggots on here ?
  9. Plenty on here steaming before they log on. Give it time, you'll catch on ?
  10. What you've said here mate, is what I did a couple of years ago. Loved the look and feel of the 100kt when I shouldered a few rifles in a couple of rfd's fairly local to me. Then borrowed a mate's 100kt .177 for a couple of weekends, scoped up and with bipod fitted, well, it just didn't feel right at all, for me. Bipod off, still not right. Back to rfd and they had a couple of 110's in. Shouldered one and had a good look etc, ordered one and paid deposit on the spot. Felt superb, practically perfect, for me, in every department, length, weight, balance, the lot. If these 110k's balance is
  11. Regarding the mag loading, I found that after a few goes I didn't even give it a second thought, and no more hassle than loading some underlevers
  12. Nice write up phil. Loved the 110 I had, but was put off with power dropping from 11.6 to 9.6, twice in the space of a month. However, things now look to have been sorted regarding those issues, and I'm actually itching to shoulder one of these new 110k's. If it's as good as the original, but with better balance etc, I could see me getting myself a new xmas pressie lol
  13. ? ............. ? cracking litter of pups there fuji ?
  14. Agree with you again. My lad has a 3/4 bred by 'merlin' from 'that breeder' lol, and he's put a few pics of him on here, a while back mind. He's kennelled, but when he has him in the house he's great with my 2 grandaughters who are 5 and 3, calm, not scatty or needy in the slightest, doesn't stress out over f**k all, is fine if he needs the odd telling off out in field etc and is turning into a decent worker, this is only his second season. On the whole, he couldn't be happier with him
  15. Agree with you mate. I think a 3/4 grey 1/4 collie be perfect for him. Like you say, it won't need bags of stamina etc, and that bit of exta greyhound should make it easier to live with, plus help it catch more of what it does run when he goes for a walk/mooch. Again, like you've said, this topic has been covered a fair old amount of times, and I do actually like some of these reverse 3/4 breds, but alot of them just aren't fast enough. And I've said before, on almost all the places me and my lad go, unless you've got a very fast dog you'll be going home empty handed. Alot of the rabbits
  16. Lol yeah now the weather's turned back normal ? ?
  17. Just spat a mouthful of my bacon sandwhich out reading this!! LMAO ? ?
  18. Yes, read that a couple of years ago, and I mentioned that the crusaders brought salukis back with them in a thread started by sandymere I think, or a thread in which he was posting? Like you say skycat, dan belkin must've been an incredibly astute fella
  19. Not really disagreeing with you here, yes, the moors , from north africa, morocco, libya etc, occupied spain, but it would've been the sloughi, not the saluki, that they took with them. And it's the sloughi , more than, the saluki that is mainly responsible in the creation of the galgo
