In my case, I suffered a fall in which I broke my shoulder blade, collar bone, some ribs and fractured my skull, and left me in a coma for 5 weeks. 50% deafness in my right ear, constant tinnitus, balance problems, sight in right eye affected, facial palsey, fatigue and forgot how to read and write, all of which left me with just a smidge of f***ing BITTERNESS!!! Lol. Trained all my life and kept fit, went into hospital weighing 16 stone 10lbs, came out weighing 8 stone 11lbs. I suffer with depression myself, and it is a bitch to deal with on many days. Sometimes even getting out of bed to face the world is more than hard work. Not going to go into it too much, as there are certain people on here that will NEVER understand it, and due to their own mental ineptitude, would see it as an opportunity to take the piss in some form. I know there are others on this site that also suffer with it, and I'd just like to say 'keep your heads up guys, and keep battling on' ?. f**k all to do with this thread really, just saying like lol ?

Yeah, slipped and run til exhaustion when the dog is still unfit, too young, inexperienced or whatever. Think how you'd feel when asked to do 15 -20 flat out 100 yard sprints when you're say 12-13 years of age, and you have no proper fitness levels. You'd be put off for life -

Personally, I think it's got f**k all to do with collie blood in a dog. Seen dogs of all sorts WITHOUT collie in em doing it over the years, even some pure sightounds. Pretty much the same when people keep saying about dogs opening up when in pursuit, 'oh it must be have whippet in it'. I've owned and worked a few whippets and NONE of them opened up. Worst dog I seen for opening up was a 1st x collie/grey x 1st x bull/grey. Point I'm making is, if a running dog of any type is started to work before it's ready ie, too young, unfit, still mentally immature, or slipped on unsuitable rabbits etc, -

Thanks for replying lads. And I take your points on board. He's not on facebook, and we monitor what he does and what he is allowed to do, when he's on his phone or anything else which could potentially be harmful etc. I'm well aware of the shit and aggro that gets written on here, as in yesterday's 'wheaten x greyhound' thread, which I asked admin to knock on the head. Disgusting rubbish which the same muppets keep churning out. Bought my youngest lad one of these for xmas three years sgo. Quite heavy considering it's all 'synthetic', poor power levels, and accuracy beyond two yards is abysmal ?
