    ive had a big shoot for many many years ,its bordered by nature reserves so i keep them areas off limits , a few years ago the farmer got a fella on night shooting foxes ,thats all was allowed to do , one day he turned up with another 2 friends ,started shooting in the reserve so i pulled them when they came up the track later (i was ferreting no gun ) anyhow this youth baled out of the back of the disco threatening to give me a good hideing i just walked around to the driver pulled out my phone & pretended to dial 999 then spoke police please im being threatened by 3 men with shotguns

      Rats on your feeder?? Put the feeder on a wire line rats carnt tight rope n if feeds going on the floor screw a plastic bowl on the bottom to catch the seed ;-)

    i must be priveliged then i did 4 x12 hour days concreteing the cattle yard at the end i recieved 12 eggs on my front seat

    my outlook on it now same as yourself after handling 1000s of rats .is rat gets trapped , pisses itself as im sure they must ,piss carries disease ? cut on your hands ? it all adds up better to be safe than sorry , just my opinion each to his own

    was useing them last night walshie the deerhunter tripod ones , really stable to shoot off but beggar me holding lamp in one hand setting up sticks with rifle slung over shoulder damn nightmare to set up right ,especially holding them slightly open while trying to get a wee bit closer , i also have some home made ones saying that ,i wouldnt go out without the sticks with the weight of my rifle

    sorry lads but no pics , i decided to have a wander last night with the lamp & rapid , way too bright out there but the farmer wanted to see me so i took the kit , luckily for me i took the little red 502b torch ,as although the lamp was fully charged it died on me pretty soon .anyhow the torch with aspherical lens was brighter . i shot 1 in the first field then another quick 3 in the next ,these bunnies had never seen a lamp/torch & sat well , so i thought ditch the four & pick them up on the way back .knowing full well ,NEVER lol leave rabbits on the ground where foxys in the

    perfectly legal but to walk openly amongst public is something i personally wouldnt do .one of my perms is full of footpaths ,i allways keep away from them & if i see or here anyone on the estate ,i gently dissapear as not to be seen or heard , less chance of any encounter ,too many busy bodies out there nowadays

    nearly as bad as my call in chippies today in buxton , 1st shop £2.65 a portion 2nd shop £2.45 .3rd shop £2.75 . i walked out the lot of them , even dick turpin wore a mask
