  3. Is there an echo in here? lol. When the time comes there will be loads of kits about so you shouldnt have to much trouble finding a couple.
  4. I hear most of the takeaways use the pataks paste anyway Torchey. I use the vindaloo paste chuck in a few chillis some ginger and some fresh coriander and its spot on.
  5. I don't order take aways much these days. Buy some pataks paste and you can make a curry every bit as good as youd get in an Indian.
  6. I tried knitting with 10z I managed 1 net but wont ever be trying it again. The spun poly is brilliant for knitting with but it does soak up water.
  7. I like the spun poly best for knitting with. For used in the field Id be happy to use either.
  8. I feed my ferrets overnight and if Im working them the next day I don't put as much in so they idealy run out of food a couple of hours before I go. Id imagine it would be dangerous for a lurcher to run with much food in its stomach?
  9. My staff retrieved a grey squirrel Id shot one day and it was mashed so maybe to hard mouthed as said above. As a marking dog I don't see why not. Theyre all different though so I suppose some would be ok.
  10. Thanks micky I had to look that up I thought you were name calling lol.
  11. Anyone got any recipes? Ive only had them once just with bread and butter. Im thinking about a crayfish cocktail.
  12. I have a small river close to my house which has a few in. Ive just emailed the environment agency requesting the application form. Anyone got any info on catching crayfish? What bait do you use? How long do you leave the trap in the water?
  13. I feed rabbits pigeon magpies crows doves rooks and squirrels. If you don't have access to these at the moment then a dry ferret food will do the job.
  14. Erm so that means they won't cook it .... Name me a pork dish on an Indian menu .............. There isnt a pork dish on an Indian menu. Do you deliver? No we do lamb chicken or beef. If youre ordering from a Chinese or any restaurant that sells pork the pork is the safest option if youre trying to avoid halal was my point.
  15. If in doubt order pork they wont touch it.
  16. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/denmark-bans-halal-and-kosher-slaughter-as-minister-says-animal-rights-come-before-religion-9135580.html
  17. Unless they're Hindu........... in which case it's most probably quorn. LOL What about Thai? Thai's the only 'ethnic' restaurant I'll eat in, you'll break me if that's hallal...... Its not just ethnic restaurants you need to worry about unfortunately, you could eat in an english restaurant and theres still a chance youre eating halal. The biggest issue is cruelty but theres also the fact that you have to be muslim to work in a halal slaughterhouse so it could push non muslims out of the meat industry.
  18. Halal and kosher should both be banned including import imo. If the muslims or the jews don't like it feel free to leave simples. Take a look at the link in my sig.
  19. I prefer hobs personaly but I also keep a couple of jills. The hobs certainly have more stamina and they can take a bit more punishment underground.
  20. Bright coloured nets are easier to see when it comes time to pick them up. The spun poly is realy nice to knit with and handles well in the field.
