never met a person yet that could tell whether a lurcher worked or not just by looking at it .unless their clairvoyant that might help a bit lol. -

a mate of mine who collects and deals in border fine arts has a coloured cob stallion with a saluki lurcher running by side of it but he wants £500 for it .lovely ornament but dont see it worth that .

clonmel coursing festival every february ,on for 3 days great craic and always a great welcome pubs and cafes wall to wall coursing talk the place is buzzing . ime not going to say its as good as the waterloo cup cos it isnt but still a great few days all the same .and if you want anything for a running dog and they aint got it then beleive me it aint been invented .

get well soon mate .a mate of mine had same thing 5 or 6 year ago and made full recovery fingers and toes crossed get well and back on .

what a start to a great thread lets hope it continues never met willie but seen a few videos of him and his dogs and heard a few stories about the man and all good which makes a change.willie tough a true legend of the running dog game and also a good horseman i beleive .r.i.p.wt.

i personally think its more to do with the dogs agility and strike more than size seen lots of small ones overshoot their quarry as well as big ones. a good strike along with good agility and size doesnt matter either way .

if your going to get one get a young pup and rear it as a lurcher from the start .but as most people will state your better of geting a well bred lurcher pup . atb whatever you get .

nothing at all wrong with guests but when theres nearly two thousand two hundred people on here at one time and only two hundred of them are members to me it seems strange thats all.i go on differant forums and never before seen that big a differance in members and guests online at one time .

unbeileivable aint it theres been 2180 people on this site in the last thirty minutes 191 of us are members and the other one thousand nine hundred and eighty nine are guests ,makes you wonder why they just dont join up as a members.i know each to their own but it really seems daft to me .
